What was so special about Kapoor and Sons? It is overrated?

I don't watch movies in theatre. Only when they are free. Abhi dekha nahi.

The acting was pretty good... Otherwise Shakun took on more than he could handle but he made a decent effort

People choice in movies differ. I detest watching boring movies like Lootera. For me that movie was way to overrated. But people here are crazy about it. Some of us prefer to relax with masala movies and some with family drama. Its just choice. Plus Alia, SidM, Fawad and Dharma Production quite fan following so expect the movie to work well.

I haven't watched it But i have a genuine question - Why do some of the favorite movies of the forum turn out to be overrated after a certain time 😕 it's like people don't express their negative opinion at the time of release but after a certain time members stars showing their displeasure .
