What was so special about Kapoor and Sons? It is overrated?

😕 I fail to understand why Karan Johar films are always successful. Especially with Alia and Siddharth. They are good actors but Kapoor and Sons was an average movie. Rhona Dhona like most of his crap. What was so special about it? Is it overrated? Please share your thoughts. 😉

Havent seen the movie... neither planning to...fawad is enough for me to not watch the movie...more than movie it was him who is overated...i can nvr understand the hype around him...lol

No one is saying it is best movie of the year or it is a great movie. So how it is overrated.?

For me it was a nice watch, movie is not exactly special in itself, it is a simple urban dysfunctional family drama done to death with few twista. What escalated the movie was a very strong acting performance from the cast especially Fawad, Rishi Kapoor and Ratna Pathak.
