There have been four months of the year and Baaghi is the first effective opening of the year. Fan opened well, infact very well for its genre but still with the prescence of Shahrukh Khan the opening is seen as not his standard. Airlift had a fair opening but nothing like what an Akshay Kumar starrer should. It did well later but thats diffrent story.
The other successful films like Kapoor & Sons and Neerja did not open and although did well later and this benefits the makers and distributors only. Baaghi is the first film where the actors as well as makers and distributors will benefit.
The film has a good satellite price and this 11 crore nett plus opening ensures some sort of succss, time will tell how big or small. The biggest benefits are to the actors Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor as the success will be aided by the initial whereas all others this year its been content.
The difference between Baaghi and all the other releases this is that its a plus on the actors side something which no other film has done this year.
