Maybe he said it for ppl who think Thapki is alwaysss right...

Bihaan accusing thapki one point after another how she ruined his life...& the very ASANSKAARI way he confronted his family about it might not go down well with certain sections of audience...U know...those who feel Ghar k bade logon ke sath hamesha izzat se baat krni chahiye...The bahus & sons are supposed to be submissive towards the elders...etc..

So he was just saying to probably those ppl...that don;t feel bad about this & don't start hating Bihaan & don't stop watching TPK just because of that one scene...
