Actually someone in forum pointed that, Jaya doesn't get happiness in her relationship with jai. So she tries she tries hard to please other , so that atleast other family members will be happy from her and bringing Vanishika's rishta was one of those steps.

She didn't do it knowingly and at one point Jaidev too believed that Adarsh was okay with alliance. More than anybody it was Adarsh's fault that he couldn't say no, his approach of "swa ne haan bola toh okay otherwise Vanishka is there on stand by mode " was really wrong
