Look at the ideals of the young couple. Swa tells Adarsh that she might not make money like his mom as she joined the profession to be the voice of the voiceless. So obviously her clients will be people who cannot afford lawyer fees.
And what does Adarsh tells they will have only his salary as he sees his post an opportunity to serve people .
And there will come a day in their life when they will only have Adarsh's salary or maybe even that is not there when he is suspended or something. What then. What will freedom and principle do. Will they be able to stick to their ideals. Or the implementation of their ideals will need new ways.
I always believe there is only a thin line between right and wrong. And that thin line is does your action put others before self, or self before others in case of a problem. In good times you can put other before self, but in bad times the person who puts self before others win the war hands down. That person may lose battle. But some battles are meant to be lost. Allow to lose to win the larger goals.
Will Swadarsh be able to traverse than thin line together. Today's journey was a glimpse of coming times. First Adarsh's world. The turmoils of power which Swa will have to experience. From outside everything look calm, clean but inside it is a cachophony, corridors of power. You cant believe what you see. You have to observe. Swa will fall in this world first, but Adarsh will hold her.
Then comes Swa's world, full of cachophony outside but it has a warmth inside. Adarsh will get lost in this world, but Swa will make him navigate it.
Finally where they started and their ideals. They will end there together will both worlds traversed, more mature and with a new understanding of their ideals. Superbly done.
