Sonakshi Sinha to Play a Pakistani Journalist

Actors keep a watchful eye on interesting scripts and it is Sonakshi Sinha who seems to have found a perfect women-centric film for her.

Buzz is that Sona has given a nod to a film which is an adaptation of a novel titled Karachi, You're Killing me.

As per news sources, the rights for the adaptation has already been secured by a leading production house. And the project, titledNoor, will be directed by ad filmmaker Sunhil Sippy.

Interestingly, the film might feature Sonakshi as a Pakistani journalist. As, the book written by Pakistani journalist-author Saba Imtiaz is a story of Ayesha Khan, a journalist in her twenties living in one of the world's most dangerous cities, Karachi, whose job is to show up at bomb sites and picks her way through scattered body parts.

The story also focuses on her personal life as Ayesha is hopeless in finding a nice guy like her old friend Saad, to share her personal thoughts with. Other than that, her most basic problem is how to straighten her hair!

Is this a BW movie? Everything is PAK-ish though the script is interesting.

No sure how she can execute this role, it requires a lot of expressions..

Currently shooting for the upcoming Force 2', new has it that actress Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in a film directed by a newcomer titled Noor'

Talking about the director, Box Office India reported a source stating, "Sunhil Sippy has been working in the ad world for a very long time and was planning his directorial feature."

"He had developed a film which is an adaptation of Saba Imtiaz's novel Karachi, You're Killing Me!'(2014). The film will be based in Pakistan and is titled Noor'," they went on to add.

The film is said to go on floors before the year ends, and will be a 2017 release.
