Good Or Evil

HP books are about the battle between good and evil. Harry is good. But is Voldemort pure Evil? He is also a victim.

He is a victim, indeed. He is a victim, and he has made choices. He was conceived by force and under the influence of a silly infatuation, While Harry was conceived in love; I think the conditions under which you were born form an important fundament of your existence. But Voldemort chose evil.

What do u ppl think abt it??Do our choices really influence our lives or whatever is in our fate/destiny that happens??

If Voldemort had been brought up with love with his mum n dad,could he be a better man and not soo evil??😕

Personally I think that he would be a good human and not eeeevil.😳

well he was indeed a victim of more or less the same thing Snape too was of...But Voldemort didnt want love...he never really tried to recognise and understand love and all the good subtle feelings in the world.
Choices indeed decide ur lfe...
and as for being a "good" or "evil/bad" person, No I Dont agree...Men arent good or bad...Its the deeds which they "choose" to do or not to which are bad..Men are just men...Deeds dont "make" them bad either...

But bottomlibe---Voldemort is a terriffic vilaain in the fiction! 😉 👏

Yes wat u wrote is correct, that people mite become bad due to the condition they looked after. But people can become bad for destiny --but people cant become EVIL. Alright?

Think about Malfoy. He was bad, not evil. He was bad becaz he was borned in a family of Death eaters. But still he didnt become evil, he becamke bad. Thats it.

If voldy wud have become bad, then i wud have said that its ok that he's bad. But voldy isnt bad -- he is EVIL.

So its totally voldy's fault, not destinis.

However to some extent we can blame the destiny for turning voldemort evil, dat is by not providing him love from any direction.. Harry got love from weasleys, hagrid etc, but it was not the case with voldemort..

However to become power-hungry and man-killing, muggle-killing, that was entirely voldemorts fault and its wrong to blame the destiny.. As u said, he can became bad because of the destiny, upbringing, but not evil..😳

Voldy didn't recieve love...true...but as he got older he could have understood the distinct difference btw Evil and Good. He made the choice of killing muggles and wanting power. It's not destiny's fault. I mean no one can become evil b/c they were treated not so good, but they can become bad. Now it's just up to the person of what they believe is bad and wat is evil. 😳☺️

Just bcoz Draco was "Born" to a Death Eater Family, he is BAD...Draco wasnt bad,...He was this gloating kid with this jealousy and superiority complex at the same time equal amount of Stupidity too...

Voldy wasnt Stupid..He made foolish mistakes yess indeeed. But that was solely bcoz he was an awfully complacent person...he considered himself anove everyone..At the same time..though he was a victim, anyone wud find it rather hard to sympathise with him when so many ppl on the good side gave up their lives to fight him!!! we wud rather love and sympathise them na?!😆😉

personally i believe that men are just men and its the deeds which have sin in them...see sometimes U do the wrong things for the right reasons...Though the "wrong thing" still has sin in it..There isnt sin "In You..."...I cant say the same for Voldemort coz I dun find his reason, if any at all, right...

A person doesnt become bad...I didnt say he bcums bad ...Men are just men..The deeds which they do have sin in them...for example..In self defence, if u kill ur attacker, are u bad? Still the deed which u do ie: killing that person has sin in it..Killing is always a sin..But there isnt sin in u bcoz u did the rwrong thing for the right reason..a reason which u dont have to convince urself as right..a reason which u wont questions..a reaason which u KNOW is right...But if someone does the wrong thing for the wrong reasons...then there is sin in him...but Voldemort JUST KNEW he was right..but is what he did right?
