In one the recent tweets by Dilip Joshi (Jethalal)..a viewer like us asked him..

** Why TMKOC has turned into a drama show...instead of good comedy show..

Dilip Joshi repied: he should asked to the producer of the show..not him..!!

1) after working so many years on the show..does these actors have no say at all? they are just in the show for sake of money and work?

2) Only producer is responsible?

3) what does the director do then?

well i believe...

Producer and the Directors are the main culprit here..because a producer will look at story but director is the captain of the ship..

If he does not like anything he can easily convey it to the producer

Also the senior most actors who have given this many years to this show..must raise a voice..

your views plss..!!!

He is right to some extent.Actors job is only to act.They don't have the right to say anything about the script.

Yes,they can give viewers messages to the makers.Maybe dilip joshi is not interested in doing that.The cast and crew of all the shows and not just tmkoc only care about trps.If the trps are good they don't care about viewers opinions.

I don't think they will even accept the fact that tmkoc is going downhill.

Regarding ur question,I feel the producer(if he interferes with the script),the director and the most important,the script writers are responsible for the downfall.

I think all are equally responsible

If credit for the success of a show is given to all

Then all are equally responsible when a show sees its downfall

Maybe director producer and story writers are more responsible but somewhere actors too are responsible

And i read that in initial days dilip joshi gave his suggestions to asit modi that hathi family should be added and infact he made the pair of babita and iyer and they were accepted

So why can't he give suggestions now?

If dilip joshi's suggestions are taken into account by the makers then I feel at least 15-20 people should tweet him that they are not liking the drama,sociai messages and promotions in the serial.Then only he will realize that there's something wrong in the show.

The actors cannot say anything about the show. THey can call it quits if they are not liking the character but apart from that they don't have much power.

The real culprit is the producer of the show and the real issue is that the show is pretty popular in a particular part of India. That's why the show still has a concrete fan base. We are handful of complainants who do not matter to the makers at all.

Agreed.This show is loved in Gujarat(for obvious reasons)and North India.When I read comments on youtube,there are many people who like even the film promotions.

And because of this the makers are taking the viewers for granted.But this won't last long.

Dilip joshi gave many advices to Asit Modi , many of them were followed, few were not. Among those one is showing Daya jetha marriage anniversary. Actors can only forward the messages, and Dilip joshi has forwarded few msgs last year. Actors have no say on story line that's why news of many actors/ actresses quitting the shows make headlines when they are not satisfied with their character or story.

Dilip joshi has received critic tweets on all topics since Jevdaya track but he couldn't do anything. He knows about criticism of Daya's voice, jetha babita story, stretching the stories but only he knows all this. Munmun lashes out if someone comments negative about show on her instagram profile. She doesn't want to accept criticism. Disha doesn't have a small hint that her voice irks few people. She doesn't know about criticism. Asit Modi stopped considering negative feedback conveyed by dilip joshi since show completed 1700 episodes. The standard of show has gone so down only feedback through Dilip joshi isn't enough for improvement.

Story writers are responsible for stretching the stories and writing like they write the story in sleep, producer is responsible for not correcting writers and director is responsible who instructs the actors what to act and how.

When tmkoc completed 1900 episodes disha gave statement to media that the every person she met till date loved the show, so she has told same to Asit Modi, so if Dilip sir will tell Asit Modi about tweets regarding complaints Asit Modi won't pay attention to them. Shivaji satam (Acp pradyuman) gave same answer to my friends when they met him that they can't interfere with the story. And same dilip sir on 24th March 2016 in interview that it's the decision of channel that which story will be shown for how much period so channel is also responsible.

I think the Producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is solely responsible.

If he does not listen to the writers,director or actors views and coerces them do as per his say then they have no option other than quitting.Even if they quit the producer will hire some one else and continue as he wants to as long as the show gains TRP's.

The producer has been continuing to do as he deems fit in spite of suggestions from the cast and crew.

Asit modi.It's his idea to add film promotions and social issues based tracks in the show.He spoiled the show by doing that.This light hearted comedy show turned into a drama because of him.
