Suman's self respect is tied to her mother...everyone keeps blaming her mother that she gave the papers to khosla...

For Suman winning the case was important so that everyone could be proved wrong regarding her mother...if shravan pays khosla 6 crore to save the house vs winning the case this would mean suman loosing her self respect
