Part 20.
Ishra were sitting in same position still hugging each other when they heard knock at the door. Raman made a dirty face ,ishita smiled looking to him and went to open the door .The moment she opened the door ,her expression changed it was non other than Tanu ,she moved ishita aside and directly went to raman .she clutched his coller in a jerk and spoke angrily " how dare you ditch me RKB,how can you ."
For the very first time ishita didn't felt good that somebody is so close to her husband other than her ,she ran to them and tried to free raman from Tanu's clutch .Tanu jerked her and again clutched his coller .ishita again ran to them and tried again ,this time she succeeded. This time ishita pushed Tanu and spoke angrily,standing in front of raman and between them " how dare you clutched my husbands coller ,don't you dare to come near him or touch him".
Raman was smiling ,standing behind ishita .IRS not like that ,that he cannot free himself from tanu's grip bit this time he wanted to push ishita to show her right on him .Ishita was standing safeguarding raman as if she is saving him from some great danger and was panting hard,due to her encounter with Tanu .On the other hand Tanu got up from her place and again walked to ishra mouthing " how dare you push me"but before that raman pulled is hits to himself and she landed on his chest ,he encircled his arms around ishita protectively and stopped Tanu showing his palm .
Tanu stopped there itself but was going to spit something very bad to them when raman interruped her and spoke slowly " Tanu please be calm ,let's talk and end this matter here itself.
T- ( angrily)- you want me to be calm down ,why damn it .
R- Tanu listen I was at fault .I m sorry.
I( trying to free herself from his grip)- Raman why are you saying sorry .
R( scolding ishita)- ishhh chup ,let me talk ,you be there only .
Ishita made a angry pout and kept quite making a dirty face .
R( again)- Tanu please keep calm ,we need to talk .
T- I m not here to talk .
R- Tanu but we had to ,its necessary .
T( making a dirty face)- ok speak ,I need to know what had you seen in this bahenji .
R( angrily)- don't drag her ,its between us .
T- why not its all because of her only ,either ..
Raman didn't let her complete and spoke in mid" no Tanu we were never together .uncle know it earlier that it was my second marriage and I was never ready for that .its because of my parents and your father's instance that I had agreed for the marriage but you know very well we never shared a relationship like couple ,we were always friends and we agreed on the fact that we will start this relationship as friends ".
T- humm .
R- you have to understand that ishita was my wife and we never had any divorce so she was ,is and will remain my wife as I want to continue my relationship with her .please do understand Tanu I can see a friend in you but a life partner in ishita ,so please its my humble request to you ,stop cursing and badmouthing ishita .hope you understand .
T- but ..
R- I already told you that I don't have any trust on marriage and I was just ready because of our parents .
T- its ok RKB what canbi do if you can see your life partner in her .I should get going .
R- hope we are good now .
T- whatever .
Saying so ishita Tanu went out from his cabin with straight face .After she left raman freed ishita from his embrance but noticed she was again in tears .
R( cupping her face)- now what happened ,why this ganga yamuna again from these beautiful eyes.
I- its all happening because of me ,if I wouldn't been here then everything was right ,this all mess ,Tanu is angry ,shouting and calling you cheater because of me .
R- nope this all is happening because of me ,if i would had been little patient that day and tried to giveca chance to our marriage that time itself nothing would had happened .so don't blame yourself ,its me who is behind as this mess ,we lost a precious year of our life ,you have gone through somuch ,I was also not happy and this marriage with Tanu .its all because of me .
I-( caressing his cheek ,)no don't blame yourself it as our destiny and we can't fight with it .
They were still consoling each other when his phone rang .Raman picked the call ,it was toshiji ,she has called to remind them for shopping ,raman hung the call and spoke
" ok leave it ,chalo cheer up ,we had to go for shopping ,mom has called to remind us .
I- ok will go but before you answer my question.That day you told me that you can't see anyone else as your wife and you were marrying tamu and then you told her that you look your life partner in me .How come somuch differences in your opinion at different times .
R( folding his hands in front of her)- arey merit ma ,you ask so many questions .so listen ,at the time of our marriage I loved shagun and had considered her as my life partner ,suddenly I came to know that you are married to me whom I have never seen and also I thought you people cheated us ,then after one year ma and papa were adamant that I should marry so at last I agreed to marry Tanu .Me and Tanu are college friends but not so close .After our marriage I totally lost belief in marriage so we were marrying as mutual friends and then you come again .My feeling of hatered towards you started changing slowly ,the life partner which I never saw in Tanu ,I found it in you that's why I want to be with you and not Tanu .Got that now are you done ,chalo we are getting late either ma will kill me.
Saying so Raman tried to drag ishita but she was holding his hands and spoke " do you actually mean it ".
R( confused)- what .
I- that you can see your life partner in me .
R( smiling )- nope I was just joking ,tomorrow I will call pathak ,you yourself dictate him what promise you want from me .He will get it type in stamp paper and I will sign it .
I- kya .
R- bhuddhu ,haan baba I actually mean that I can see my life partner in you .Now get going .
I- one more question .
R( making a dirty face)- bolo meri question bank ,insecurities ki dukaan .bolo .
U( making a angry pout )- no ,now I will not tell anything ,you are teasing me .
R- then what should I do ,I know I have hurt you deeply and it will take time but I how many times I told you that now I m totally yours .now ask what you were asking .
He spoke this ,backhugging her ,she leaned little backward and rested her head on his chest while ye rested his chin on her shoulder and closed her eyes to feel the moment .
R- now ask .
I- nothing .aise hi.
R- arey ask na baba ,either it will raise another insecurity in you .
I- ( slowly )- Raman if ever shagun wants to return to you .
The cabin filled with pin drop silence for a while ,raman was shocked with this sudden question while ishira was feeling guilty for ruining their peaceful moment by taking shaguns name .
Raman thought for a while then spoke to lightening the atmosphere ," at first she will never come back and if she ever come back ,I will keep you both .I will have two two madrasan wife ,will enjoy with both of you .haina it will be fun.
Ishita turned yo him angrily and spoke " and I will kill you for that .isn't it would be great ".
R- mazaa aaya ,nahi na then why you ask these crap questions to me .Now come either ma herself will come here .
Saying so he dragged ishita out of his cabin and soon they were on the way to mall .Before entering the mall they saw a flowrist shop ,Raman didn't paid attention towards it but ishita like a kid stood there and was admiring the different types of flowers ,red ,yellow ,pink ,dark pink roses ,white lilies ,purple and magenta carnasen ,she was lost in the flowers where's raman entered the mall without noticing that ishita is not with him .when he was about to enter the ladies boutique ,he turned to look at ishita but was surprised ,after not finding her .He waa shocked and scared where did she go .Raman threw a quick glance throughout the mall in search of her bit was surprised not to found ishita anywhere .He ran outside and saw her standing near the flower shop .Raman pulled her and almost squeezed her in him and shouts" what's this ishita are you a kid ,thank god you were here itself ."
Ishita oblivious of the fact that what had happened in last few minutes ,pulled herself from Raman and asked " Raman I want a beautiful bouquet with flowers of all the colours".
Raman made a dirty face and scolded " are you out of mind ,here I was searching you all over the mall and you are asking for flowers .mad woman ,come we are here to shop for pur marriage not for any funeral ."
He dragged her inside the mall but her eyes were still on those beautiful flowers .They first went to ladies section purchased clothes for her ,they were surprised to know that they had similar taste and choices .They choose same colour combination clothes for each other for every function. Yellow saree for her and yellow Kurta for him for haldi ,green lagenga for her and green shrerwani for him for mehendi and red and white combination dresses for sangeet ,at last mehroon and green combination lehenga and sherwani for marriage .After handing all the dresses for alterations they headed towards jewellery shop .He purchased two huge diamond set for her ,bangles and a big diamond ring as she was hesitant to choose and take such expensive jewellery for herself .
Ishra were happily coming back to their house,on the way raman thought to have something as he was feeling little hungry .They went to a five star hotel .Ishra were having their refreshments when they suddenly saw huge crowd over there many cameras ,reporters ,media .They thought may be it should be some celebrity or politician .After paying bill when they came out ,ishra got a huge surprise ,they saw huge posters of shagun were pasted there that she is in Delhi for some modelling contract and fashion show ,it was not a rocket science to know that the person who me all the media people were following was non other than shagun .
Though they hadn't meet her but a different type of insecurity raised again in ishitas heart .she saw raman was looking to the poster ,her heart pricked witnessing this scene atfiest she was sad but at next moment she held Raman's hand and dragged him towards the car .His trance broke ,he encircled his arms around her and walked to the car smiling at her but deep inside both were little affected with sudden arrival of shagun in their life .
