For several years, it was believed that married actresses lost popularity in Bollywood over time. But Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of those few heroines who has debunked this myth. She has been part of several successful films ever since she tied the knot in 2012. As a matter of fact, even her latest release set the cash registers ringing at the box office. No wonder the actor is now being bombarded with several new film offers.
"Out of all the offers, Kareena has zeroed in on two - director Ribhu Dasgupta's next (after his Amitabh Bachchan- and Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer), and the fourth instalment of director Rohit Shetty's Golmaal series. However, she hasn't made up her mind regarding which project to take up first. She will take that call in a few days ," says an insider.
Since she got married to actor Saif Ali Khan, Kareena has delivered several hits such as Singham Returns (2014), Gabbar Is Back (2015) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), among others. "Kareena has never bothered about these perceptions. She has always been clear that she will continue working till she wants to," adds the insider.
As for her forthcoming films, the actor is apparently equally excited about both the projects. "While one has an author-backed role for her, the other one is a big-budget film (she was also part of the third instalment of the series). Plus, she is close to Rohit too," says the insider.
Despite repeated attempts, Kareena couldn't be reached for a comment.
