**Chapter 3**
His eyes Just seemed drawn towards her ... it wasn't like he fell in love with her there itself ,for he never beleived in love at first sight,it wasn't even like attraction either as he was just intrigued by her striking persona which he felt resembled someone special, but there was something deep inside his heart that screamed she isn't any ordinary girl and with that instant thought his lips curled into an unfathomable smile.
Their eyes met for the first time , one set of eyes were curious to know more about the person in front while the other set was spitting fire at him.
Rukkaiya's voice brought him back from his dream land .
The cunning girl keenly observed the trio and surmised the middle one to be the weakest among them which unfortunately was Moti ...
Hey u... whats ur name pointing her finger towards Moti, Rukkaiya asked her name with full attitude making her sweat like anything .
Woah !! Looks like Rukkaiya got her first victim indicating towards Jodha and her group Abdul squealed with a stupid grin on his face .
Me ..?? Um i..im Moti ..Moti sharmastuttered Moti wiping the sweat drop that formed on her forehead.
"A tiger at home but a cat outdoors" thought Jodha rolling her eyes looking at her bhabhi who was stammering like a small kid in front of those devils.
Her trance broke when she heard Rukkaiya's voice again ..
Moti !! Pearl !! Nice !! ,just like ur name, hope u amaze us in the task we r going to give u now too exclaimed Rukkaiya adoring a devilish smirk on her face.
So the task is .. go and propose a guy uttered Rukkaiya with smirk on her face .
Propose ?? Its easy ,isnt it her eyes gleamed as she let out a sigh of releif for she expected something big going to hit her soon looking at rukkaiya's evil face,but this was quite easy u can do it Moti ,its just a matter of proposal encouraging herself in her mind Moti prepared herself for the task and took a step in front but halted when she heard Rukkaiya's voice again ..
Hold on girl, im not done yet came her honey laced voice which indicated she was definetly upto something .
Go and propose a guy ,kiss him and ask him for a date completed rukkaiya with a sadistic grin on her face which made Moti's eyes shot open .
Propose!!kiss!!Date thats too much ,such a devil she is ,thought Jodha in her mind ,her jaw clenched while hands fisted into ball to calm down herself looking at Rukkaiya's audacity.
I i cant do this came Moti's feeble voice .
What ?? What did u say ??come again asked Rukkaiya pretending she didnt heard a bit.
I ..i said ..i cant do this mumbled Moti which made Jodha proud of her bhabhi .
Its an order Moti ,u have do it, willingly or unwilling its upto u , do the task or be my spot for one month .said rukkaiya in a cool tone blowing air on her freshly painted nails by her chamchis ( Pinaaz and Ruksar.. Rukkaiya's flatterers)
Thats it.. Jhodha really had enough of all this drama and rukkaiya's last line pulled the last string of her tolerance .
She said she cant ...so she won't quipped Jodha loudly and confidently ,crossing her hands across her chest.
His ears perked up hearing her voice ,her sweet yet confident voice made its way to his heart thereafter his curious eyes stuck on her petite frame which had a lots of courage inside .
Oh god!! Here comes the saviour !! Im sacred girls said rukkaiya dramatically and laughed wickedly.
May i know the reason behind ur no ??Queried Rukkaiya sternly looking straight into Moti's eyes .
Becoz ...becoz... she fumbled while Jodha continued on her behalf.
Becoz she is already commited replied Jodha in her unflattered voice which triggered Rukakiya's anger as no one ever dared to raise their voice in front of her .
So ??? She questioned.
So ..Just for the sake of ur temporary amusement u cant play with her feelingsreplied the feirce lady.
Fine if she cant then u have to do her taskstated rukkaiya throwing daggers through her eyes.
And why do u think i will do this ?? Argued the nonchalant lady .
Becoz if u dont ,i will make sure u gonna suffer like hell the entire 1st year threatned rukkaiya .
Huh!! As if im scared thought Jodha in her mind when Reva whispered .. do the task and finish it off guys ,u cant mess with our seniors like this right ,beleive me task is much better then being her spot hushed Reva in her convincing tone ,trying to persuade Jodha to take her advice and do as she said.
Rukkaiya i think we r wasting our time on her ruksar chipped in ,i mean havent u seen her behenji avatar ,i dont think she can do that for it really needs a lot of guts to do right stated ruksar making Rukkaiya laugh .
Yes rukkaiya she definetly wont accept ur challenge quipped pinaaz.
Now it was her pride at stake, she had to teach these wicked girls a lesson and for that she needs to play smooth.
Obviouly Jodha wont let her bhabhi do the task when she clearly know the reason behind her rejection and neither she will agree with her being rukkaiya's sopt ,so the last option was do the task urself.
Common girls we dont have the whole day howled rukkaiya as she was now detrmined to show Jodha her place .
Anyone of the two had to do the task and thus Jodha stepped forward I will do it .
Great !! Go for it then !!and remember the guy u will choose to finish ur task wil be our next victim declared the devil lady.
I Cant beleive she agreed uttered surya in sheer amusement to which abdul grinned and said must say lucky guy winked abdul sheepishly .Its going to be fun added maan merrily .
Moti pulled her back with a "U cant do this look" but Jodha assured her with a smile .
With her every step in front the guys stepped back fearing the wrath of seniors for they were sure of one thing Rukkaiya doesnt want to see her win at any cost and hence they decided better not to mess with the seniors .
Jodha knitted her brows as she saw them backing off loosers she muttered under her breath, these were the same guys who stared her shamelessly minutes ago and now ...arghhh a low scream escaped her mouth .
She wasnt the one to give up so easily that too without a fight and thus she wandered her eyes and it was then she noticed his gang rooted at their places.
She observed maan singh who seemed to be innocent type can i procceed with him ??Thought jodha for a while but then immediately scratched the idea .
she then shifted her gaze towards abdul who was giving a kind of friendly vibes and yucks its really disgusting to kiss ur friend ,she cancelled him too .
Her eyes then trailed towards surya who looked like a boy next door ,sweet simple and mostly sensible . He wont take advantage of the situation ,surmised jodha and padded towards him but to her bad luck he saw him leaving the room with his mobile may be a call and thus he left to attend it.
Cursing her fate With no other option left she casted a glance at Jalal who looked no less then a Jallad to her and that mischeivous smirk on his face made him look like a true monster .
A proud smirk played on his lips ,not becoz he was going to be kissed by her ,he was least interested in kissing a stranger but he wanted to prove himself worng. For presuming her to be different from other girls he come across on daily basis .
Knowing very well about the effect of his charming persona on girls ,he was sure she cant resist him either and was proved right when Jodha stepped towards him.
With full on attitude he stood glued at his place .
Gosh !!Baby she is moving towards Jalalnudged pinaaz who very well knew Rukkaiya's feeling for Jalal.
Dont worry pinaaz said the imprudent girl i know Jalal for ages ,firstly he wont let her kiss as im sure he is just testing her character and secondly if in case she does then pity girl will be inviting her own death just like Natasha cleared rukkaiya cooly .
(*Guys natasha is the same girl who misbehaved with Jalal in club and the next day jalal poured water on her *)
Wasting no more time pondering over the situation Jodha stood right in front of Jalal ,she could see the sly smirk on his face .
Aah How badly she wished to wash that smirk off his face ,taking her kanhas name she closed her eyes with a hope for some kind of magic as she was really not interested in kissing a jerk like him and to her amazement as if her kanha heard her prayers Jodha found the perfect suitor for her task.
Inching closer to him she said move aside !!will you !!
His brows creased to confused frown as he kept staring at her blankly . Sooner he found an impish smile kissing her lips and thereafter he saw her walk past by him outside the room ,his interest piqued as his eyes followed her frame if not me then who???
There stood an old man cleaning the floor, Jodha concluded him to be peon with his attire .
Rukkaiya's dare had a loop hole ,she never asked to propose in a typical I LOVE U way, neither she hinted towards any particular guy nor she mentioned any particular part where she have to kiss.
So she was now clear what she was supposed to do ..
Baba she called out the man politely to which he snapped his head up .
Ji bitiya( yes daughter) responded the old man humbly.
Baba thank u so much for doing all these shitty works for us even at the age of retirement ,i truly appreciate ur hardwork .I want to take u home ,will u be my date tonight asked jodha carrying a soft smile on her face .
The old man who worked in the college for years guessed her plight ,he understood she was being ragged and hence he agreed without creating any drama as he knew she didnt mean anything she said .
He simply nodded his eyes to which Jodha felt elated and side hugged the old man before kissing him on his hand .
A victorious smile played on her lips with a "TASK ACCOMPLISHED " smirk which bruised rukkaiya's ego badly , huffing and puffing she left the room stomping her feet followed by her obedient subjects.
Surya who came inside after finishing his call felt sad as he missed the whole drama .
Guys what happed ?? He thereupon questioned his friends whose mouths were wide opened .
She successfully completed her task replied Jalal still fixing his eyes on Jodha who was celebrating her victory with her friends .
Really ?? She did quizzed the surprised surya and asked whose the lucky guy haan poked surya assuming jalal to be the lucky one.
Peon shambhoo answered abdul and the group burst into laughter threafter .
God!! That was superb ,she is something buddy commented abdul to which Jalal kept quite lost in his thoughts.
He didnt know why but he felt happy that she choosed the peon instead of him ,she was different for sure he thought and smiled to himself.
Guys we too should leave now for the next lecture ,lets go stated surya to which everyone nodded and left the room before casting a final glance at the spunky lady .
The day went well For Jodha and her friends ,a weirdest grin played on Jodhas face when rukkaiyas angry fuming face flashed in front of her eyes . She was quite satisfied with herself and why not she indeed needed a lesson .

Jalal skipped his night party today for he was specially asked by his jiju to join him for the dinner .
So ..how is ur life going asked the man in his mid thirties .
Routine jiju ... college ,studies ,assigments ,exams then after all this a lone time for myself ,partying with my friends .replied Jalal casually.
Good ,so ur enjoying ur life to fullest but remember the mantra "health is wealth" i hope u know smoking and drinking is hazardous to health excalimed Bairam khan in his calm and composed voice which made Jalal understand the reason behind this sudden meeting.
Ammijaan !!she approached u right quizzed Jalal keeping a straight face .
She is ur mother Jalal ,she is worried for ureplied bairam khan trying to amend the distances between his mother in law and brother in law.
Oh pls jiju ..not again ... if we r here to discuss about her then pls pardon me as i neither have the time nor the stamina to discuss about her said Jalal avoiding his gaze .
But Jalal u cant behave with her like this right uttered bairam khan increasing his voice by a notch .
Jiju i know she is my mother ,but she never behaved like one . Where was she when me and dii... his voice choked as he felt a huge lump in his throat ,his eyes moistened when memories of past flashed in front of his eyes .
Jalal stood up from his chair without completing his food and left for his room
Ja..jalal..atleast finish ur food shouted bairam but it all fell on deaf ears as jalal didnt spare another glance at him.

Jodha who is this old man and why u brought him here asked the protective brother.
Bhaisa he is ur sister's saviour replied Jodha with a proud smile on her face and narrated the whole story happened in college .
As per the proposal Jodha really brought the man to her house whom she now started referring as kaka for dinner after all he truly helped her come out of the mess doesnt he 😉.
They welcomed their guest warmly and treated him respectfully ,Moti arranged the table for dinner and they all had a gala time enjoying their meal .
The old peon shared many stories related to his life ,his personal experinces and lastly about the college specially some of the gangs who loved bullying others and that reminded her of Jalal opps Jallad 😆 His mysterious dark brown orbs played havoc in her senses.

Jalal strode his way to his room in a very foul mood when his eyes fell on ajar door .
He silently peeked inside the room where a small petite form sat in the middle of her king sized bed with all her books scattered everywhere carrying a confused frown on her face which brought an instant smile on his lips.
Noor khan ,Jalals neice was the exact carbon copy of him and some of the traits she got from her mother ,specially her eyes .
He knocked the door slightly ,her eyes snapped towards the door .
Mamuuu... squirmed the small girl clasping her hands in happiness and ran towards him .
Hi princess !!what happened baccha and what is all this mess ?? Enquired Jalal lifting his princess in his arms before ruffling her hair.
Mamu this stupid nanny (Maha manga) took off for today ,u know na i cant arrange my books alone ,thats why all this messanswered noor making a cute pout on her lips.
Okk.. so my princess needs help,u could have asked others na queried jalal .
I found no one free for me mamu ,u r busy in college friends and all ,Nani is busy in her NGO's ,abbu in office and maids in household chores ..whom should i ask then she paused for a moment and then continued ..
If mom was there ,she would have helped me in my homework and all haina mamuquizzed noor innocently to which Jalal just nodded his head without saying a word.
Mamu .. its been a very long time since ammi went to Allah's house ,did she informed anything about her return queired the lonely child who craved for her mothers love .
He didnt have any answers for her questions ,his heart bled for the poor girl who barely remembers her mothers face ,she always asked about her mother while others kept avoiding her question always .
Helping his neice in arranging her bag jalal waited in her room till she drifts into deep slumber .
He then close the door slowly and fiercely walked towards his room ,banging the door behind him he start pacing back and forth in his room . switching off all the lights of the room he takes out his guitar and start playing it mercilessly with pools of tears streaming down his cheek trying to erase everything from his mind.
wiping the tears he then crash on his bed to retire for the day...he shut his eyes closely but today sleep was far beyond his eyes as he didnt get his dose of pain killer 😆
Moving to his mini bar inside the room he opened a bottle of alcohol and gulped the liquid in one go ...but it didnt lessen his pain either .he closed his eyes tightly when out of blue her eyes flashed in his mind which had a different spark ,that victorious grin when she completed the task brought a smile on his face unknown to himself and to his amazement it brought a smile on his face too and that in return soothed his raging nerves , soon he dozed off ...awaiting for the new fresh day .
