May be you can check the facts. This is the Dada Saheb Phalke film foundations award and not to be confused with the "Dada Saheb Phalke" award given by the Government of India.

This award is given by some private foundation.

The Dada Saheb Phalke award given by Government of India is the top most award in Film Industry in India and given only for life time achievement in Films. Its not given for TV industry.

But, I would have said same for gia, one needs to be versatile to get such awards. Neither Gia nor Devoleena have achieved something extraordinary. No one deserves an award for not quiting long running saas bahu show.

Indirectly they are promoting never ending crap.

Devoleena has no contribution in making this show successful, it was topping TRP chart before her entry, nor she has made character of Gopi famous, it was Gia who made it. In fact before her entry there used to be craze about GoHem on social media which she failed to create after exit of Gia.

So, she is getting award for what? There are many talented actors than her in show.

I am watching the serial for over one and a half years. I have never seen Jigar (Vishal) play any significant role in any episode. He is one of the few male characters who gets a chance to utter some dialogues in this female dominated serial. If he played a key role in the earlier episodes , I do not know.
