Irritation Overloaded
The girl is full with the stuffs. In one hand side
bag.. It is difficult to say what is in which hand.
Side bag, umbrella, water bottle, phone, file... She
was struggling with everything... Anything can fall
any moment and she was doing that in the
middle of the road. What nonsense. Rishi
proceeded towards her to help... "Let me help
you", he took the water bottle and umbrella from
her hand. She looked up at him and her eyes
caught his immediately.
For a moment they forgot they are in the middle of the road. She allowed him without saying anything. She fixed
her things in the bag and took her stuff from his
hands too, "Thanks", She said a single word only
and went on. And soon she got into a taxi and
vanished from his sight..
"Only Thanks? Really?"
He murmured to himself.. Girls willingly get in
trouble to get his help and this girl just said
Thanks? Didn't even look at him properly. He was
disappointed, highly disappointed.. He shook his
head to brush of the thoughts and went on with
his days..
It was early evening. He entered in a
cafe. They planned a get together with friends
here. They almost booked out the place for the
night.. He come to check if everything was
done.. And then only he realized he forgot his
phone at home. And his eyes fell on a lone figure
sitting in one corner of the cafe. "Thanks Girl..."
He smiled to himself thinking what name he just
gave her. It was obvious that he was attracted
to her. Well he didn't want to let her know this
so instead he planned a coincidental run in with
her... He approached her from behind so that he
can make her believe that it is really a
coincidence that they are meeting again,
"Excuse me, can you tell me the time please? I
have forgotten my phone"
She looked back at the source of the voice and stared at him for a moment, he waited to see if she would
recognized him but there was no reaction, better
to say she was trying to hide the reaction "well,
Isn't it a coincidence that we are meeting a
second time in the same day?" He said with a
smile.
"Well, I don't believe in self-made
coincidences" She replied in a stern voice
making him dumbstruck. How could she say
that? His whole plan went in vain
"You were asking me something right?" She asked again
and he come to his senses, "Um yeah.. I was
asking the time" She held his hand and checked
the time from his wrist watch, "It is 5:50 PM..",
she said making him chuckle for her smartness
"Old fashioned way of flirting Mr.."
"Rishi.. Mr. Rishi", He said with the same grin.. "Whatever"
She turned to leave "I am glad that you caught
me flirting with you only, but i have said my
name.." He said making her turn "So?"
"So? I deserve to know yours too", He said crossing his
arms against his chest..
"Is that so?" She raised her eyebrows "Then keep your name with you.. I will erase it from my memory.." She didn't linger after that. "I will see about if you can erase it or not", He screamed after her. She left leaving a
smile on his face, "I just loved the attitude"
Next morning he woke up late.. He lied down again on
the couch of drawing room, "Didn't you promise
to join office from today.. Lazy head?" It was his
father..
"Dad.. Please tomorrow.."
"Someone needs to learn breaking of promises from you"
"Sorry.. Dad but i just returned from London last
week. I handled everything there, I need a little
break please".
His father laughed seeing the
pleading face of his son.. "Its all right but
tomorrow I am not going to listen to excuses.."
He almost dozed off again after his father went
away. And his dream broke in due to a sound,
"The sofa is not only for you" He jerked up in a
moment, he rubbed his eyes to test if he is
seeing right.. He smiled at himself thinking it is
just a dream like last night, how will she be here
in his house.. He lied down again to enjoy his
dream. But alas.. "Oh hello. I said get up. You
are on my dupatta.."
And this time he was sure it
was not a dream he got up immediately. "What
are you doing here?" It was his Thanks girl.. She
took her dupatta and was about to go when he
grabbed her arm, "Excuse me, It's my house and
I am asking something to you.. What are you
doing in my home?"
"I am not interested to give
you an answer" she said and tried to free her
hand "Is that so?", his hold became tighter on her
hand and he pulled her to him, "Choice is
yours.." Her breath became heavy when he came
closer to her, "I said leave me.."
"I said tell me.." He was having fun of the condition...
"So you both finally met", They both jerked apart listening
to the voice. It was his mother.
"Mom.. I am asking her since so long but she is not telling me who she is" Rishi went towards his mother
"Don't tell me, you didn't recognize her?", She gave a
shocked look. Rishi got more confused with his
mother's words, "Tanu.. Your Veer uncle's
daughter.." His eyes popped out.. He looked
at her, "Chubby Buddy?"
"Don't call me that.." She pointed her finger at him with anger..
He laughed out, "Oh my.. I can't believe this it is the
same Chubby Buddy.. You have changed"
"Don't you dare to call me that again." She was fuming
and left from there with heated attitude
"Oh.. I just loved it", he said to himself
"Now, don't irritate her like in childhood. She came here for
her job, better you behave this time", his mother
ruffled his hair
"I will take care mom.."
He didn't even leave a chance to call her "Chubby Buddy,"
or to tease her in every chance which he used to
do in childhood. And he was enjoying every
reaction of hers.. Not attending office helped
him a lot. She completed her lunch with so much
difficulty, this guy is so shameless; don't even
know how to behave with guests. His mother
scolded him in everything but he went on after
apologizing. He went to the terrace following her
after lunch and got confused seeing lines of
clothes hanging there. Soon he understood all
these belong to her. How could he leave one
more chance to tease her?
"The terrace is not yours alone chubby buddy, others also need to dry clothes, it's just full with yours"
She glared at him and then started to take her clothes off.
"Hey, I was just pulling your leg, let those be
here..."
She again didn't say anything and
continued her work, "Tanu, I said I was kidding.."
He hold her hand to stop her... She looked at his
eyes and found herself getting weak as always,
"I come to pick these only, it's not for your
stupid words", She said ignoring her heartbeat.
He chuckled, "Your habit of getting irritated still
is the same Chubby Buddy"
"Didn't I say you to stop calling me that name?", She threw an angry glance at him
"Yes, you said but did I say I will
obey you?"
"Well you will do that soon" He gave
her a questioning look, unable to understand,
"Are you free this evening?" She understood why
he asked so, "You will never change with your
flirting."
"I don't want to when you have turned
into a different creature," he winked at her
making her gape. And she didn't want to get
weak in front of him again so just avoided him
and left, which was quite tough.
"Dad, is it important to start from the bottom? I already
know all these, I don't need training like others",
He complained to his father in the office.
"Nah, I can't give that much big responsibility to you at
first.. At least first week you have to take
training under your boss" His father
announced.
"What Boss? Really dad? You have
this little faith on your son?"
"Your boss will be arriving soon, better you get ready", he
concentrated on his works and Rishi got tired but
couldn't convince his father. And when he was
about to leave the door opened.. "May I come in
sir?" He was surprised to see her, "Chubby
Buddy.. What are you doing here?"
She ignored him as always and greeted Mr. Bedi "So
Rishi This is your Boss. New boss" He was dumbstrucked at his statement, "You mean really?"
"Tanu, He is under you now, do whatever you
want?" Mr.Raj almost laughed seeing his
reaction. "My Secretary will show you your
cabin"
"See you soon Mr. Rishi.." There was
a grin on her face when she left from there. He
couldn't believe this was actually happening. His
parents never mentioned it and neither did she.
What was going on, he actually couldn't get that.
And the week went like a torture at the office.
Not that but he was under orders of his new
boss and he could guess she was enjoying
irritating him like he used to enjoy in childhood.
And the week changed his feelings completely.
Definitely she was enjoying irritating him and he
was enjoying spending most of his time with her
even if that was for work issues.. But he never
left a chance to tease or irritate her at home.
The more he teased her she took revenge at the
office. Mostly her dialogue was "Don't waste
time.. You could have done that in 30 minutes,
you took 35 minutes instead..." And Rishi got
stunned every time...
It was one weekend evening; The Elder Couple went for a function. As per Tanu's knowledge Rishi also
went with them, they asked her to join them but
she just skipped that because she didn't want to
be around him. She was listening to music in the
evening when suddenly the door of her room was
opened. And she was surprised seeing him at the
door. She got up from her place, "What are you
doing here?" He locked the door without
answering her and drowned the curtains of the
window. She stood stunned, trying to read his
expression which is saying something. She
gasped when she saw him loosening his tie and
switching off every light of the room leaving only
one.. Soon she felt she was stepping back as he
was stepping forward towards her. She was
clueless about the fact in front of her; she could
just read the desire in his eyes. It was so unfair
when the wall blocked her way as her back hit it
and he did the same blocking her from the front.
She could feel her breath also was shallow
getting him so near to her. She was breathing
hard by now expecting the same thing which she
used to do in their younger age. She shut her
eyes close unable to bear the look of him.
"You always lecture about time. Don't you know we
shouldn't waste electricity too? You can listen to
music with one lamp on, even if all the curtains
are down. You don't need to waste electricity"
Her eyes shot open listening to him and she
could see the victory in his eyes.. It was all his
plan, he played with her again.. With her
emotions.. She pushed him off her, "I hate You!"
She ran to the washroom at once without giving
him any chance to speak. She didn't bother to
close the door, just opened the shower. She just
wanted to cool herself down, wanted to wash
away every thought which crossed her mind
moments back.
He laughed silently in the victory
of the retort finally but unaware about her state.
He was aware that she is effected by him but he
had no idea how much she is affected. He could
listen the sound of the water falling, "Hello
Madam, Don't waste water also..That's
priceless." First time her anger turned into tears
and she couldn't hold back..
He wanted to tease
her, wanted to make her more and more angry
so that she can say her true feelings but he
never wanted to upset her. The sound of sobbing
puzzled him.. And he didn't think even once but
opened the door of washroom. And she was
crying there under the shower. He rushed to her
immediately "Tanu, I am sorry", he guessed it
was for him only She jerked away his hand from
her, unable to say anything and just kept
sobbing.
"Tanu please, I was just teasing you. I
never thought that you will be hurt by my silly
acts", He hold her once again.
"When did you understand Rishi? Did you ever try to understand me?" Her tears mingled with the water. They
didn't care about their wet state.. He looked
confused, tried to find what is the meaning of
her words.. "I hate you, hate you, hate you for
this", She started to punch him on his chest. He
caught her hand after a few punches, "And I hate
the fact that you are trying to run away from me
since the past week". His eyes spoke volumes
with that one sentence..
"I have been running
away from my feelings for so long, from the
moment when I understood I will always be just
"Chubby Buddy" for you. Not a beautiful girl." He
was surprised by her this time, "Since when
Tanu?"
"Since you came to our house first the
time..Since then When I was 15, and you were a grown up
college going youngster, since you started
irritating me with every single thing, since you
have shared that you have hordes of girlfriends
and everyone was crazy about you.. From the
time you never looked at me would stare at my
neighbor girl, I have hated you from then. I just
hate you..." She started to punch him once
again.. But he didn't stop her this time, just
waited till she stopped. And soon she got tired
and clung to him as his placed his hand on her
waist, "I hate You.." She said one last time
before looking at his eyes.
She saw his eyes grew molten when they met hers.. She stood there in his arms with a heavy heart. She could
feel his breath on her face as his face was
coming down to her, "But I love you." He said
once before capturing her lips with his. She
stood stunned for a moment, trying to guess if it
is her regular dream or if his lips were really on
hers.. As his hands went under her t-shirt she
gasped and was forced to open her mouth.. His
tongue explored her mouth just the way he had
wanted always "The more you will hate me, the
more you will be loved by me..." His lips roamed
her neck, sucking it to his heart's content and
tried to move down as her hands and his eyes
encouraged him more, "Rishi please.." She finally
found the voice to speak.
He stopped and looked
at her with desire filled eyes, "Do you still hate
me?"
"We shouldn't waste the water, you said a
few times back", There was a naughty grin in her
eyes.
He pushed her on the shower wall, "It will
be wasted till I get my answer..." She was
shocked feeling his body completely on hers. "I
will hate you as long as you will call me "Chubby
Buddy""
"Ahh, so much daring you have I see..."
"Definitely I have, otherwise I would never have
come to teach you a lesson for every irritation
you gave me before..."
"And you involved my
parents in this?"
"Your parents themselves
arrived as they wanted a lifetime boss for you
and they agreed with the conditions" she was
giggling by the time seeing his shock and
surprise filled face.
"You are going to pay for this
Chubby Buddy." She couldn't react with her
angry glances as his lips claimed her again more
hungrily and the passion overtook both of them
very soon. They pulled apart with swollen lips,
she hid her face in the crook of his neck. "I loved
you more than I hated you"
He picked her up,
turning off the shower, "You still have to pay a
heavy punishment" She bit his earlobe placing
her arms around his neck, "let's see who will pay
more." Her act turned him on, "challenge
accepted Chubby Buddy.." He said taking charge
of the challenge.
