Asad followed zoya as she led the way to her room. "zoya!! Where's all my stuff and..and the furniture?" he askes as he stumbled over a cardboard box .
Zoya opened her room door and walked in twirling around on the way "welcome to our room mr. khan" she giggled and for a second he was lost in the twirling beauty in front of him.
"zoya...nikaah ke baad you will live with me in my room...nahi ammi?" asad looked at dilshaad who smiled
"haan...but ab tumhaari begum tumhe uske room me rakhna chahti hai...ye to tum dono miya biwi hi jaano" dilshaad and nzma walked away.
"asad walked in and rolled his eyes as the digital world came into view. He was surprised to see his things arranged properly in the whole room just like he wanted. Though zoya hasn't made much changes in her set up. The digital clock...the remotes for almost everything lying on the bed...much to asad's ocd to kick in.
he kept all the devices in the basket and smoothed the kinks in the bedsheet before moving out to balcony where he saw his wife standing with her hands on the railing. How amazing was the feel to being able to call zoya his wife.
He kept his hands on hers on the cool balcony railing from either side of zoya, his front touching her back. The winds blew zoya's tresses on his face as he closed his eyes.
"mr. khan ur room doesn't have a balcony" he chuckled at her "kya"
She turned around resting her back at the railings while his hands played with her hairs. "mr. khan this balcony...where u and me.. I mean it is so special to me where we had bad and good encounters I wanted this in our room"
"so it is...u know what zoya we can make more better memories in here" zoya watched his sexy eyebrow cock up and his one hand pulling her closer. She licked her lower lip and looked down to his chest . asad's fingers traced the red hue on her cheeks.
"how would I ever tell u how lucky I feel to be your husband...to hold you close..." he grazed his nose to her cheeks and whispered in her ear "to be this near to you"
Zoya felt content wash over her in his arm and in the daylight she still shivered at him being near so close to her. Her heavy breathes were the proof to what extent he affected her.
He pecked at her cheeks and smiled at her that dashing smile enough to make her go flat.
"zoyaa..." they heard eric as soon as asad has leaned in to kiss her. Her eyes popped out and she turned around to see eric standing in the garden waving.
Zoya's hand flew to her mouth giggling "eric!!! Come on up"
As eric moved to main door zoya too started for downstairs but asad held her hand. "teach him to not disturb our private moments...ur married now"
Zoya burst out laughing at the cute face asad pulled out with that little frown sitting between his eyebrows.
She stood on her toes to peck his cheeks and rolled her tounge inside her mouth.
"zoyaaa enough romance!" eric came inside much to asad's irritation and embarrassment.
"can't u knock?" asad asked stern in tone.
"eric when will u learn to knock?" zoya stood with hands on her hips...her eyes watching them amusedly .
"when u change ur password" eric whispered and launched himself on zoya to take her in a big hug.
"roses for the lady" eric smiled at zoya and gave a quick peck winking at zoya who giggled looking at asad "thanku"
"why are you frowning like an old man huh?" eric looked at asad from head to toe and asad looked here and there cursing him under his breat to which zoya glared at him
"c'mon I got roses for u too"
"incredibly foolish" asad muttered and left the room while the duo kept on laughing. "okay I'll give them to nzma cool?"
Asad walked back to them and snatched the roses from eric's hand "not cool" saying so he gave zoya the roses and took her with him leaving a grinning eric behind.
"Eric c'mon we're gonna be late!!" came nzma's voice and he made his way outside.
"kahin jaa rahe ho tum dono?" asad asked.
"bhaijaan kal se college start ho rahe hai na so have to fill in some stuffs" asad nodded to nzma.
"m sorry girlfriend I couldn't make it to the airport this morning" eric smiled a little smile at dilshaad and she waved her hand "its ok but change ur lazy habbits."
Eric grinned but nzma didn't fail to notice sadness in his eyes.
"ammi we'll have lunch outside" nzma said dragging eric out. Zoya chuckled at them and asad narrowed his eyes at her.
"what mr. khan bacche hai wo"
"right to jao jakar godi me khila lo" asad rolled his eyes at her.
"no thanks I'll have my own kids for that" zoya bit her tounge and closed her eyes. Asad was surprised and smiled at the zoya who has turned tamatar.
Zoya opened her eyes to see asad looking at her directly. She immidiately turned around heading to the kitchen "ammi laiye mai kar deti hu"
Asad was left smiling at her shyness and the grace zoya carried while walking or almost running to avoid embarrassment, her dupatta tailing behind her.

Zoya came at the dining table arranging plates.her hairs cupping her fair face. Their eyes met for as long as they wanted to. It was zoya who broke the eye lock when asad stepped towards the dining table.
"ammi aap baithiye me le aati hu" zoya went to kitchen.

After a tiring day the evening hovered over zestate and the khans sat in their garden along with uncle rickwood and eric enjoying some family time together. It was almost dark when eric came with a series of neon lights that had a magnet with them.
On the swing iron railings eric taught them to throw the neon lights and then they threw them on every thing that would attract magnets.
Asad watched zoya giggle "these are like neoflies" he was mesmerised by her beauty in the dark background while her face still shone in the neon lights

"nzmaaa..." zoya squealed with laughter as eric started to put an hat full of neonflies. "get away u idiot " she giggled and ran right into asad's direction only to bump into his chest as he held her right.
"booo" eric and nzma came behind her as she went behind asad's back keeping him in front...asad had no idea what was happening around...he was lost into zoya...her laughter...her squeals ...her voice...and everything about her. Today watching them play merrily his heart was content in a strange way.

They all had a delicious dinner talking and having time together before asad and zoya left for their honeymoon. Rickwood was so happy to see asad staring at zoya like that. He was happy for zoya to have such a wonderful family. So was eric only there was something in his eyes which troubled nzma.
After enjoying more delicious dessert rickwood and eric left and zoya helped nzma clear up the kitchen. Dilshaad retired to sleep and asad checked the doors and locks.
Zoya held his hand. "time for surprise hubby!" she whispered to which asad raised his eyebrows and she just winked smiling at him.
Ghaat ke taale hai...

"say goodnight to tamatar bhai and bhabijaan" nzma pouted after stiffling a yawn.
"aww mela tamatar" zoya hugged her and asad came to hug both of them and pecked their foreheads. "good night tamatar" asad smiled lovingly at nzma and she smiled and yawned again.
"have college tomorrow...gonna sleep." Nzma walked away and asad cocked his eyebrows "surprise?"
"yes c'mon"zoya said excitedly and led the way to their room.
"what is it" asad's eyes was twinkling which was making her stomach jittery with excitement.
"our first night in my bed...i never thought I would share this all with you" zoya smiled and made asad lie down on the bed while she lay on the other side.

"we're gonna star gaze" she said and asad looked on waiting for her to say more. She fetched a remote and asad looked up in bewilderment as the roof slid aside making a glass roof visible through which the dark sky spread in an endless beauty with uncountable shimmering stars illuminating the darkness like someone has found diamonds in charcoal.
Zoya held asad's hand and shifted closer keeping her head on his arm. "I had this set up long time back...everynight it used to calm me..though tonight I feel so content being with you and stargazing with you.
Asad was mesmerized and wound his hand around her waist as they took in the spectacular sight above them. Zoya switched off all the lights which were flashing in the glass roof. It was dark all around... just the stars twinkled above them. Zoya's earings glittered and asad moved closer to take them out.

Zoya kept her head at his chest as he wrapped his arm around her. They comfortably talked about things,...joked their private talks and asad did tease her of her hand being on his six packs now too. "zoya..."
"umhh..." zoya sighed in her slumber that's when he realized she had fallen asleep. He smiled at her and pecked her temple carressing her tresses.

He was happy...he was content...and he had the best sleep of his life with her in his arms. And to add to that he smiled in his sleep as he dreamt of her... the teen zoya...the girl from bhopal...who used to gang up with ayan and his cousins and he didn't ever feel to be a part of her mischiefs...just watching her was enough.
