The episode is transitioning towards climax and setting stones for the romance and emotional support and validation that Kunj will require after assuring his presence to Twinkle. My only complaint is that the episodes until the climax are repetitive and slow and then the episodes rush into the next track immediately with any proper development. I've been following the show since mid-february and doing analysis since Mahi stepped into the house and the general flow of script has improved a little bit with every track but it needs more work. Especially the direction needs more work because many times the scenes are not as engaging as they should be.
Comiing on towards the episode, I think we all enjoyed it because of the romantic quotient it started with. I want to touch on the colors of Kunj's shirts as he has been the only one to switch his clothes in the last two days along with Yuvraj. Rest of the family needs to shower daily.
The white of Kunj's shirts showed his beliefs and his standing up for justice for Twinkle because of the purity of Twinkle's intentions and her heart. The change to pink was to reflect that the success will only come to Kunj when he doesn't just stand up for his faith in his relationship or his belief of right and wrong but also when he stands up for his love itself regardless of expectations and complaints. The shift to blue at night reflected on him finally being at peace with Twinkle by his side and his ability to get better insight in the situation he has to support Twinkle through.
Yuvraj switched from the white shirt underneath his vest that showed his isolated pursuit towards his true intentions to separate Twinkle from Kunj to light blue. The light blue's negative side represent deceit and conceitedness. Yuvraj has become more and more self involved and that attribute was very constant in today's episode too when he declared to his mother in clear words that Twinkle is his obsession and he'll go to any lengths to get her from Kunj.
The episode started with Twinkle's anger getting the best of her and her whole body just trembling to put herself in course of action. Twinkle is impulsive and thinks from her heart and with such a deep gash adorning her heart at this point, nothing besides love that has been taken away from her can heal that. People as much impulsive as Twinkle is stand strong but in moments of privacy, they scatter terribly. Twinkle's inability to not do anything for her sister and to not bring the justice to her sister's memories will keep her restless and pumped with the rush of anger till she is successful in her motives. This fight has become way too personal for Twinkle and the only person who has the ability to tone her down will be Kunj because this fight is personal for him because of Twinkle. Only he has the ability to shield Twinkle now and stand up for her.
Twinkle's unraveling at not being able to do anything and then leaning against Kunj signified the strength she gains just from Kunj's approval. Her voice dimmed as he asked her to calm down for him along with adding a please. The whole ordeal with Twinkle is affecting Kunj worse then her because while Twinkle has her mother and her husband to stand by her in her grief for the loss of her sister, Kunj doesn't have the only person he is able to open up with by his side. Being a predator of Yuvraj, Twinkle's vulnerable position doesn't allow her to provide as much comfort to Kunj as she has the ability to.
Kunj has assured her of his belief in her as she was pulled away from him and even when he sneaked to see her in the jailhouse and the only way he could calm her down was by expressing to her that he really needs to her to be fine and him not being able to control the situation and get her out has effected him in a worse way then it is effecting her because she had these very real situations to fall upon and let herself fall apart whereas he did not have any kind of such support to fall upon as it only falls upon him to support not just his wife but his wife's mother.
The expressions of helplessness coupled with rage that came to see his Twinkle in such a state when she let her head fall onto his lap were brilliant. For Kunj to be able to help Twinkle, he needs her composed and be able to stand on her own feet so that he can help her through this battle.
I particularly loved his dialogue where he pulled Yuvi in a different context of paying for his deeds then Mahi getting her justice. It highlighted Kunj's frustration and just as he uttered those words, Twinkle changed her position and put her head on his chest. The change showed that despite understanding the problems, despite understanding Kunj's frustration Twinkle's current inability to assure him verbally will worry her further. That frustration of needing Kunj but also not wanting to trouble him further was perfectly depicted as she sat up on the bed and looked at him, disturbed by the thoughts fluttering inside her mind.
Twinkle's dress was ivory champagne color with pink was one the perfect mixes to go with. Ivory can represent someone with virtue and chastity but also someone who had been secluded mentally and psychically because of personal challenges. Pink represents nurturing nature and unconditional love that has motivated such an intense amount of anger in Twinkle.
Yuvraj in the room next door seemed much more immersed in his own mind. The fact that he'll accept anything given to him by Twinkle showed his embracing defeat on his own but instead of facing the defeat, he will defend himself from the title claiming himself to be a victor >his inability to deal with rejection. Throughout his whole ordeal where he gushed over his chemistry with Twinkle and the amount of love he has for her, Anita was scared to lose Yuvraj because indirectly through his obsession, Yuvraj has made it very much impossible for Twinkle to ever come back to him. Anita throwing water on Yuvraj's face signified her trying to use bring Yuvraj back on the same motive as her which the mother-son duo started out with however she'll be unable to do so because she has been the one responsible for Yuvraj's present. The positioning of Anita throughout was behind Yuvraj while Twinkle's picture, (that was creepy) was positioned to his side and then later Yuvraj walked towards it, signifying how Twinkle's existence has become the reason for his existence.
The gurdwara scene only held one that stood out for me. Kunj prays to have the strength to keep his promises to Twinkle. Kunj does believe in the higher power however he is more of a morally driven person and what stands out for him is the promises he makes in his relationships. The traditions and the customs of marriage do not matter for him as much as the seven vows do and with those vows Kunj made an unbreakable promise to himself. Despite not trying to keep a working marriage between him and Twinkle, he stood by his vows and promises and remained loyal to Twinkle in the initial days fully taking on her responsibility.
The scene signified the love Kunj has begun holding for Twinkle.
With the end scene, I just really liked the positioning. RT and Anita sat opposite each other where as Raman and Bebe sat opposite each other. It signified how the share of power in both the households and the decision maker in both the households rests in hands of Bebe and Raman that renders these two, Anita and RT at a position where they do not have enough power to declare their authority.
The surprise and the hurt on Twinkle's face upon finding out that her father did not support her was beautifully expressed by Jasmine. I loved the edge in her tone and the exhaustion of making people realize she was not responsible taking over and her walking away because it's no longer time for her to justify herself but only to get justice for her sister.
The episode focused on Twinkle's fight and the effects the fight is having on Kunj. The last scene is going to be the last straw for Kunj himself and his desperation to get his life back with Twinkle would erupt further through pleads. Kunj's internal strength is wavering and will continue to do so until Twinkle lets the anger wash away. The past has only just started to creep over Twinkle in the last scene and Yuvraj will go to any extent to protect himself.
The episode, as I said above, was repetitive. Like I said yesterday, the track is well-thought out but not well written and the inconsistencies with logic are doing no good. Theatrical drama is perfect but missing up pieces in writing without proper execution is messing up the show. My rating would be 3/5 for today. Please leave your thoughts.
