She sat there loosely cursing every move of hers. She never wanted this but life is unpredictable. Tears rolled down her translucent cheeks and she firmly closed her eyes to stop them.
"Zaroon I had to do it but that doesn't take away the fact that I love you."
She was tired,not physically but surely mentally. She slept like a toddler for she hadn't had a sleep of even two hours in the past 48 hours but now her body had given up.
The rays of the overhead sun woke her up. She was still in need of some more sleep but she got up because of the slight nausea she was going through. She rushed towards the basin and the blood gargled out of her mouth.
She fell on the floor immediately after it while she cried out
"Zaroon."
Zaroon had his face cupped in his hands when suddenly he panicked a bit and began breathing heavily with his head wet with sweat in the air conditioned room.He knew something was wrong. He rushed,even when he ,to be more specific ,his love had been insulted in front of the world. His mind had stopped working,all he knew was that he needed to at least see her even if she wouldn't like it. He drove at a speed he had never managed to reach. He knocked hard on her door and tried to ring her up but on getting no response he got the door opened from the authority and his heart nearly sank seeing her on the floor,helpless trying to shout but she couldn't. His panicking reached another level and he cried for the first time in his adulthood.
"Kashaf.."
This is all he could manage. He rushed her to the hospital and stayed up all night beside her,inquiring constantly about her health. He prayed for the first time and showed his belief on the Almighty. He now knew why she refused his proposal in front of his family and why she insulted him,called him names. It was all clear in his mind. He cried harder when he was informed of the disastrous disease she was suffering from and mentally decided to chide her for thinking that he couldn't take care of her.
He was in his chain of thoughts when the doctor informed him about her improved health.
He went in silently with his eyes still wet with tears.
"Kashaf, I am so grateful to God for reviving you."
He kissed her hands while expressing himself.
"I am sorry I never wanted you to know this. I want you to live happily. I won't recover Zaroon and I don't want to spoil your life. I came to know of it just a week back and until that I was excited for our marriage but not anymore. You don't deserve this."
Being shocked, he replied
"Kashaf,you don't trust me enough? You think I could ever leave you? Kashaf I have only loved you and if its not you it won't be anyone else. You can recover,the doctor told me so and I'll even bring down the stars for it because I love you like nothing in this world and dare you ever talk of going away. I'll join you there too cause I can't live without you."
Kashaf just smiled at him and her fate. The real reason was the fact that she thought that Zaroon, like other men ,would leave her at her bad time too. She couldn't take that rejection and thus she decided to reject him first,but he proved her that he wasn't like others and that his love was indeed true.
