At the very outset I have some questions which I would like to have answers to.
1. Why was Shagun wearing that nine-yard long black-n-white gamcchha over a red blouse?
2. Why was Aaliya wearing that hideous dirt brown straight-cut sack (with slits on either side) over hot pants?
3. Why was Toshi looking like a big, fat round SMILEY, right down to the yellow colored pearl-strings attached to the rim of her glasses (yes, that's a new trend all oldies need to pick up on NOW!!😕) ...I shudder to think how she would look like with red-colored pearl strings while donning something red
4. Why was Mihir looking like a b-grade version of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in that moustache, sans the turban/patriotic tag??
Why, God, Why?
Yes, Mihir made an entry in today's episode, with the camera panning on him in a bottom-up style, yes, yes, to build suspense. I nearly fell off my couch thinking, FINALLY, Raman aa gaya. BUT NO, it was MIHIR, trying to be taken seriously with his mucchi and all, as if looking hideous is a sign of growing old
Pihu seems to be quite fast when it comes to investigating things. The first question she asked when she met Shagun outside the school gate was - Aap meri real Mamma nai ho??
Ironically, when Shagun saw her crying and all upset, the first questions she asked were - kya chahiye beta? Shopping, burger, falana, dhimkana...she will NEVER change!!😡😡😡
Anyway, she blasted the school principal, ki aap ke school mein kya yeh sab sikhaya jata hai. Kya saboot chahiye aapko Pihu ke meri beti hone ka. Uska birth certificate, ya uske munh se nikla hua woh pehla shabd...
You would think she meant every word of it, and had changed a whopping 360 degree😲
Back home, in Bhalla House, she discussed this incident with Toshi and Simmi...Pihu went into Indian Telly soap mode again today [GROAN😕😕😕] ...Talking about how well her Shagun Mamma blasted the principal...and how she could write dialogues for Parvati...I'm like, Pihu beta, hold on for a month at most, and your Shagun Mamma will spout off dialogue after dialogue (replete with nasty, bitchy, scheming expressions) once your real Mom makes an entry😆 She even asked Shaggy, why her sindoor was tedha...
Seems Shagun has been play acting for Pihu's sake, dressed as a suhagan and all...and yes, I was right - she sees Pihu as Ruhi, whose care has been assigned to her a second time around. She doesn't want to fess up like she did during Ruhi's time. I really want to see how she will react to Ishita's homecoming...😳😳😳
The episode was more interesting than the ones aired past two days, because of Ruhaan...
Since Aaliya has been chosen as Ruhaan's PA, she makes a move to the latter's house, dressed in that sack and squealing with an abnormal amount of excitement, primping in the pocket mirror, giving finishing touches to her makeup, right outside Ruhaan's door. You would think she was prepping up for a date with a boy...😕 Rehearsing what she would say when she meets Ruhaan, "Hi, I'm Aaliya" some 10 times
Anyway, the house-help opens the door, and Aaliya introduces herself...she is ushered in, asked to wait outside while the house-help goes to get Ruhaan.
During the time she is waiting, she checks out the house in complete awe, and taking selfies in front of a life-size portrait of Ruhaan hung out in the living room. I was sniggering - these CVs, they try to drill it in our heads that its apparently Australia they're shooting in. Kuch bhi!! For all I know, they're shooting in one of the posh localities in Delhi, or possibly, The Lalit or something😆😆😆
Minutes back Ruhaan had been screamed at, YET AGAIN, by that bitch Nidhi. She needs to report for a song recording, and there she was, in her room, a palm to one side of her cheek, groaning in pain. Nidhi stormed in, asking her to get ready for the recording...Ruhaan says she has tooth ache...the bitch asks her to have a pain killer, and freshen up for the recording...and reminds her, yet again, that she has invested a lot of money in her and made her the rockstar she is today...so she better do as Nidhi says...
God, I feel really sorry for the kid...she is traumatized and terrorized by that jerk woman..that's worse than what Shagun did to Adi! Wait, no! That isn't...Snow White had almost reduced Adi into psychological mess...so no, I guess, there's no comparison...😭😭😭
Anyway, Ruhaan comes out and plonks comfortably on the sofa. Aalia introduces herself, flustered, excited. She asks if she could click a selfie with Ruhaan...the latter says yes, go ahead... Aaliya mein bhi uski Ishita Amma ke gun hain, lagta hai...in barely two minutes of meeting Ruhaan, she could see the kid was fiddling with a strip of pain-killers...😆😆😆 she asked Ruhaan why she was taking those pain-killers...Ruhaan said it was for her tooth ache...And smart ass Aaliya who doesn't have a life of her own, tells Ruhaan - this pain-killer is actually very strong for you. And one fact after the other tumbles out, and then Aaliya offers to take Ruhaan to her house, where her Mom has a clinic...
Ruhaan is scared to leave, since she has a recording due in some time, nevertheless, Aaliya tells her they could leave for the studio directly from the clinic...even the house-help looked terrorized, when Ruhaan left with Aaliya. Nidhi sabko dara ke rakhti hai naeen
At Ishita's house, Ruhaan first asks for the restroom, Aaliya guides her...the washroom scene was actually poignant...because while washing her face, Ruhaan accidentally yanks off her wig...and that's when I realized she should get rid of that abominable wig and move around in her real, normal self,coz she is quite pretty...
She tarasho-ed herself, looked at her long, silken hair...for a moment, it seemed she had forgotten she was an impostor, and was RUHI...innocent, chirpy, beautiful Ruhi...there was a flashback scene which showed traces of that MANHOOZ RAAT😆
Ruhi is bent forward on her knees, crying, while Nidhi tells her to accept her harsh reality. She fed some more nonsense into the poor kid's head - tumhari Ishima ne aisa kiya kyunki woh tumhari sauteli Maa hai, unhone apne bacche ko bachane ke liye tumhara sauda kiya, mere saath...ab behter yehi hoga agar tum apne past ko bhool jao...ab main hi tumhare family hun...ab tumhare paas koi option hi nai hai...mujhe pata hai ki tumhen bahut bura lag raha hai, lekin ab tumhen ise accept karna hi hoga.
And that is how it led to Ruhi transforming into Ruhaan, starting from the change in hairstyle.
In the washroom, before she could get carried away in the pain and hurt of her torrid past, she caught herself, and put her wig back on, wiped her tears, reminded herself she is RUHAAN, not RUHI...and exited the washroom...
the kids even chit chat in Aaliya's bedroom, and the latter cant stop gurgling about how excited SHE is to have POP STAR RUHAAN in her bedroom, no less!! Ruhaan says - sabko sab kuch toh nai milta naa...at least tumhare paas ek family hai, bahut achche parents hai jo hamesha tumhara saath denge...
Poor kid, I feel really sorry for her, but I am kinda excited, coz at least Ishu and Ruhi would be meeting tomorrow...
The new kid (Aditi Bhatia) emotes really well. I felt so sad when she was talking to Aaliya, ruing the fact, that she isn't blessed with what Aaliya has. Even Aaliya noticed the tinge of sadness in her voice, and the fact that she keeps talking about some 'Ma'am'... (that's Nidhi, of course!)
and I guess, we would be introduced to Mr. Angry Young Bhalla😉 and Romi in the award ceremony for Business Excellence which the Bhallas are excited to attend...and it seems Raman is making an excuse not to turn up there...Shagun says, she knows how to gt Raman to come to the event...she will take Pihu's help, of course! What other way is there to get Raman to do somethin he doesn't want to do?
Raman ki entry kab hogi, kab hogi, soch soch ke dimag ka dahi ho gaya haiyaar, ab toh mila do Raman se...ab nai wait hota.😭😭😭
And costume guys, PLEASE, if you want to retain an audience who continues to watch YHM, then PLEASE do away with Aaliya's sack-like costumes and Shagun's Harappan civilization relics, and of course, that gamccha draped over her...
and it would also be nice if you could do away with Mihir's mucchi...uss mucchi ke saath woh zindahi bhar KUNWARA hi rahega😕😕😕
PRECAP - I think Ruhaan is done waiting for Ishita, and as she makes a move outside Ishita's place, she is greeted by an effervescent, gorgeous Ishita, who stops in her tracks and looks at her lovingly, just as she does the same. So yes, the connection starts TOMORROW...YAYAYAYAYA!!🥳
I cannot contain my excitement, thinking HOW SOUL-STIRRING the mulaakat is going to be tomorrow.😭😭😆
And of course, how INTENSE Raman Bhalla is going to be, 7 years hence, and how our hearts are gonna skip MULTIPLE HEART BEATS😉☺️
So, possibly, tomorrow is going to be a day of Pehli Mulakaats😉😉 7 saal baad!
