Kalpana is not typical vamp!!!

She is full of hate. She has made her own daughter a vishkanya with no thought about the daughter's life, but just her own revenge. She can go any extent for her motives. She has technically sacrificed both her daughter for her hate and revenge.

There better be some good reason for all this hate and planning...

Have seen a couple of episodes and i liked the actress

Is Kalpana a widow? The way she's gaudily dressed up - w/ a gold chain attaching her bracelets to her finger, hardly looks like it: she's more dressed like a bride. Her mom is more convincingly dressed as a widow.

While there may be a mystery about her enmity w/ the Mittals, there are 2 things about her that rub me the wrong way. One is her blatant partiality towards one daughter. Granted that Tapur is obnoxious, but I do admire her standing up for herself. What I don't like about Tapur is her claim to Maloy over Appu's - Appu is older to her and would normally precede her to the alter. If she has a rivalry w/ her sis over the same guy, she ought to respect his preference, whatever it is. However, Kalpana keeping Appu's 'condition' a secret from Tapur doesn't reflect well on her. In any family, when there is someone w/ a particular condition, everyone within the family knows about it, even if they may keep it secret from the outside world. Had she taken Tapur into her confidence here, there would probably have been less bitterness from Tapur, who seems to be programmed to be a vamp in this show. As an aside, Kalpana seems to be a congenital liar - telling Appu that that rabbit was alive and being treated, when in fact, she had buried it 🤢

The other thing about her that really bothered me - okay, she wants her revenge on a family, but making her daughter the weapon w/ which she will retaliate is really tawdry on her part. Let's assume that her plot succeeded, and Appu ended up killing Maloy - like she almost has done the other lecherous guest who tried to molest her. THEN WHAT? Wouldn't Kalpana want her to live a normal life - either as a professional working woman (how well has she done in public tests after the home tuitions?) or as a housewife? How would Appu do that - would she magically cease to be a Vishkanya once Kalpana's vindictive objectives are achieved?

Sorry, the CVs may mean to make Kalpana look like a matriarchal figure, but I have a strong disdain for her already from just the handful of episodes I'v seen.

She is prettier than both her daughters.She has a plan, plan to take revenge on one family that is mittals and the reason behind it is yet to be shown. Whatever it is she herself is deadlier than Appu her daughter, who could sacrifice her own daughter 4 this revenge sake.

I am also eager to know the mystery behind it. All I feel bad that she wants 2 kill Malay using appu. I dont think Malay is a bad guy or did something wrong to Kalpana but may be his parents did some thing very tragic and heinous that made Kalpana so vindictive.
