the show has many subtle and small things which actually adds to the beauty of this show...
in the party dev was enjoying every moment with her and he is aware of that which is proved by the suggestive statements that he made during the dance...
at one point of time sonakshi felt conscious of his closeness and she paused the dance...and dev who is actually a mind reader silently asked her watz the matter...dev's character has a lot of depth and he cud actually feel his own emotions as well as the fact that sona is affected too...
about putting her profile in jodi.com...i actually find it another impulsive act of dev than any intentional interference in her life...
sona has accused him of two things...one is that he has intentionally broken the marriage which is true although he is not ready to admit...second is that he has done this to keep her working for his mom which is also true...
so to prove sonakshi wrong dev is putting up her profile...by this way he will tell her that kushal was actually not the right guy and he has no intention of stopping her from getting married so he is taking effort to put up he profile...
then wen tina asked whether potential groom shud be from delhi so that sona can continue working for him he said there is no preference and the guy can be from anywhere...this way he will prove to sona that he is not doing any strategy to retain her...
however, we viewers already know dev is doing this only to prove that sona's accusations r wrong whereas dev is actually not being truthful...he actually intentionally broke the alliance with kushal and the reason is obviously that he does not want to lose her as nutritionist...
i wont call this unnecessary interference in her life since he is only trying to refute the allegations...
however, dev now has more reasons to retain sona...one because of his mom and second he now is aware that he has growing feelings for her...so i hv a feeling if this profile works and another potential groom comes dev will again do something to break that one too...
he is making this profile only to convince sona that she is wrong about him but dev is dev...he wont easily let her go...
i find him extremely adorable...at the end of the day he will do want he wants...this cud be a negative trait but he is doing nothing wrong actually...if kushal was a nice guy then he wudnt hv broken the alliance because of a third person...
i also feel dev is putting up profile because sona said that he will never understand wat happens to a girl whose alliance gets broken...it must hv reminded him of neha and so is taking it upon himself to mend things...
another thing i want to say here...i find dev extremely manipulative...sonakshi is an independent and career-oriented girl...she claims that she makes her own decisions...but look at the picture now...she is personal nutritionist of ishwari but that was dev's choice and not her...her alliance with kushal broken and again that is dev's doing and not her decision...i admit she wud hv broken it nywyz but the fact is that she cud not and dev did it...
i think this paves the way for the future story...dev can move any stone to get wat he wants but wen it will be time to convince his mom about marrying sona he will fail or rather he will not do anything to convince her...
this show is treating a very unique concept...such mother-son bond is not uncommon in society but this issue has not been handled in any show...i am sure the makers of this show will sensibly treat this issue and will highlight the fact a mother has to understand that her son has a life of his own and even if he loves his mom very much a time will come wen his heart will desire a life partner and the mother has to understand that...
finally i want to say i trust noel smith as director...his past work has been wonderful...and i am sure he will do justice to this show too...and shaheer is a fantastic actor so he just needs a right script...
