What is (a) chut?

Hello! I attended a workshop in India a few days back. At lunchbreak one of the local female participants approached me and offered to show me a good restaurant to have a snack. I found it a bit strange that a woman makes the first step, but - different countries, different attitudes. So we spend the rest of the day together. During dinner, after learning I'm a muslim she said I needed to come to her place after to see her hindu chut. I asked her what a chut is and she chuckled and responded 'Something you'll love to worship'. This line triggered fury inside me as it suggested idolatry - shirk - the biggest sin in my religion!!! I got up and left, dumping her with the bill. I regreted it a bit for she was very hot but this only pleased me more in the long run - that I passed such a major test, avoiding a strong temptation and sticking to Islam. However, I'm still a bit curious - what was she talking about, what is that chut?
