That, my friend becomes her weak point. A good actor should never have to depend on the director, they can shine even in the worst material.
But every actor is different so I won't judge her that harshly since she seems to try her best in each role (barring a few), it's better than some actors who don't try to challenge themselves at all.

You mean all director's actors are weak actors? I would like to disagree on that. It is simply a different approach actors take - a director's actor is one who is willing to go every length to bring the director's vision to reality. And a "good actor shining in the worst material", I do not agree with this again, because I have seen brilliant actors give bad or forgettable performances in many a film.

Not necessarily. Even a multiple National Award winner like Shabana was overacting to the hilt in some of the scenes, some critics have pointed that out. Most of the actors tend to perform acc to the director.

Where? In Jazba? Shabana is the only good thing about that movie...Which critics have pointed out she overacted?

Never did I say anywhere that their weak actors but rather that it's their weak point that limits them to only a certain number of directors who can bring out the best performance in them.
I guess we have to agree to disagree on this point 😆 Because for me, a good actor is a person who can utilize any role given to them and get a good performance out of themselves, pushing their limits.

My bad, I misunderstood your point then. I agree with the point in bold though.

However, I believe a good performance is based on a lot of factors... the role, the lines, the direction and the acting. Only good acting can only get one so far.

I will say it again, it's not gritty enough. And in this still Aish seems to be overdoing it. I can already hear her screeching voice

Amazing expression by Ash. Exactly same as Dalbir. 👍🏼

This film will be surely banned in Pakistan. It will generate more publicity for the film.

On the contrary, I think it might end up being good movie for Randeep. He seems to have really worked hard for it and his stills already make me feel bad for his character.
Aish seems okayish but yea, She has a hard time in acting out high on tension emotional or outburst scenes because she ends up screaming like a banshee. 😆 Otherwise, going from the stills, she seems fine.

Indeed, Randeep Hooda seems to have a very good role in this one. What worries me is that Omung Kumar isn't a good director imo. I don't know if he'll do justice to this story.

I think the movie has high chances to become a success in India because it deals with an issue that involves the complicated relationship shared by India and Pakistan, also it'll surely be a tear jerker.
There is a lot of material for it to become a good movie but the director could be tempted to fall into an emotionnally manipulative mode which would jeopardize the chances of Sarabjit to be a real good movie.
