Like how there were formula films in Hindi movies in the 70's & 80's which ensured commercial success, these days even the so called REALITY SHOWS follow a formula for success which is :

Shocking Elimination + Wild Card = Success + High TRP

I think those people who blame contestants and camps for putting pressure on channels for having wild card rounds are totally wrong as it is not their fault and it is all pre-decided. Non of the shocking removals are for real, they are not based on marks or votes but they are pre-planned for sure. It is a gimmick which every show pulls off and it has given 100% success.

So it is not that Prachi was eliminated due to low votes or wild card is due to Balaji pressure, but this was decided much before when the show had not even begun (although I feel the contestant is not decided till they have gauged their popularity). For example :

1. Kash-Krush were having highest score and were voted out (infact with the current format of NB3 of 50% judges + votes it is mathematically impossible for them to get out even if they have the lowest votes since they have 6 judges points + 1 point for lowest votes makes it 7 points, I challenge any mathematician to take me on for this). They went out in a huff, created a stir and were back through wild card. Just a predecided ploy. They will be in Top 3 or 2.

2. Toshi was removed when he always scored highest and so was Abhas. Their ouster created a stir, TRP increased and they both were in via wildcard and were in top 4.

3. Raja hassan was eliminated and brought back by wild card and he was in the finals. His fan following only increased and so did the TRP

4. Amit Paul was taken out and came in via wild card, had increased populartity and reached the finals

5. Diwakar (SRGMP) was taken out by judges, got back via wild card and was in the finals.

6. Amit Sana was taken out then brought back through wild card, he came to finals (however I feel this was genuine as the reality scene was not so corrupted as it was the 1st such show)

These channels play smart by removing a very popular contestant (not on score on votes), they judge as to who's removal will cause major Stirring of emotions of fans and then when they have worked up the emotions and a debate, they bring them back which ensures that their TRPs go up and also the popularity of the contestant (thats why the contestant plays along since he knows that he will be back and it adds to his popularity).

Generally the channel guys do the shock treatment during some imp episode like Diwali/Eid or when some top notch guest is arround or their TRPs are lower than competitors.

This formula I think will be seen even in the other future programmes like Jhoom India. After some time when people get wise enough they will look to develop a new formula for success.

About Raja Hassan. He was brought in again during the Brahmastra round. This Brahmastra round was not a rabbit out of the bag. From the beginning of the competition, the Brahmastra round was announced. The rules of the game were not changed in the middle of the competition.

About Diwakar, I don't know because I don't follow little champs.

even in NB the rules were set...and kash krush got 7 points but so did karan amita (6 from viewers and 1 from judges) and alex shweta (2 from viewers and 4 from judges)...so in such cases of tie viewers votes are given preference...but to an extent even i think u r right in some cases...but dunno anything cud be true..we can only guess

Thats my point, Kash Krush had 6 points from judges and 1 from audience making it 7. Plus Shweta Alex had 2 from voting and 4 from judges so they had only 6 points. But they eliminated KK even though they had 1 more ranking point that AS. I also feel that Karan Amita could not have got 7 ranking points as they had only 1 point from judges so to get 6 audience points they needed the highest votes that means more than Aamir-Sanjeeda & Rakhi Abhishek, which I cant fathom.

I agree that Brahmaastra round was announced first but they took out Raja Hassan although he was most popular and got him back in that round. If they wanted to be fair they would have brought in shrestha in brahmaastra as she was eliminated unfairly.

Even wild card in NB3 was announced from first, but they point here is that the jodi eliminated was done so only to stir up emotions and bring them back.

well actually even i was confused abt alex shweta that time...and karan amita did get highest votes as karan is very popular as robbie..but still like i said to some extent u r right..btw i wrote by mistake alex shweta got 5 points from viewers and 2 from judges making it again 7..thats what was said..but was shocking how cud they get so high viewers points suddenly

But even of Alex Shweta got 2+5 and KK got 6+1 and Karan Amita got 1+6, they would have all been at 7 points each. Then atleast the hosts would have announced that there is a tie between all 3, however KA were the first to be announced as safe and it was RA who were in bottom 3. So there was no way that the results were straight.

Plus for that to happen, Alex-Shweta (2nd highest votes) and Karan-Amita (highest votes) both would have got more votes than Rakhi & Amir-Sanjeeda which would be hard to believe as their popularity is miles ahead of Alex-shweta.
All said and done, all eliminations were very fishy. Even for Prachi she had the second highest scores and I can bet everything I have that she cannot get lesser votes than (atleast)Sonali. Plus she had much higher score than sonali, in that case it is impossible for her to have a lower ranking total than Sonali. Just Channel gimmicks my dear friends !
