Firstly, I am sorry for not being to reply back to comments and responses on my last thread however I did read everyone's responses and I loved the what everyone had to say!
Today's episode, albeit a filler in this track, focused on the two Taneja ladies and the fall of one to give way to the other to rise. The focus has returned to Twinkle, her decisions, her choices and her journey of choosing the best for her. Till now we have seen that the big decisions of Twinkle's life were taken by the people closet to her instead of her taking them herself. The person who was going to be her life partner was chosen by her mother and the inclusion of her father back in her life was taken by Kunj. Twinkle herself hasn't taken life-changing decisions for herself but she will from now on because she is the next Taneja in-line to hold up the sword of justice. Her decisions and choices will hereon lead the war between Tanejas and Luthras.
The episode started with Kunj being caught inside the cell that has been holding Twinkle captive. In yesterday's post I mentioned that Kunj has willingly stepped forward for Twinkle because of his love for her, abandoning his old position that will be taken in by Mahi who will take her place with Twinkle because she has accepted Twinkle as a sister finally. Kunj sneaking up inside the cell signified his need to protect Twinkle and be by her side. His side and his partnership will give Twinkle the strength and belief that has been shattered with Yuvi's betrayal and constant attacks on her for rejecting his love.
The involvement of Police signifies the pursuit of justice and in this war between Twinkle and Yuvraj will after being won and lost by either sides would be judged by the impartial party to decide who has fairly won. Twinkle upon realizing that steps Kunj has taken for her and the change of his position would make sure to make a run for him. In the episode with the sword scene, I mentioned that Kunj and Twinkle's need to protect each other is a double edged sword in itself that will not bring the joy they both will undertake in order to protect the other one. >> This episode marked the break-down of Leela Taneja in from of Anita Luthra but what Anita didn't realize was that Taneja's fall and then rise back up with a more flaming spirit then ever. Twinkle being the next in-line Taneja has not taken on the same war started out by Anita but this time the warriors from Taneja's aren't standing up to defend themselves but avenge the harm caused to them. Twinkle realization that Kunj has joined forces with her will make her push him out of the way because the original line-up did not include him and being Twinkle, she would not allow anyone to take in the bullet for her however Kunj's voluntarily effort has already made him a target.
Twinkle's promise to the police that Kunj will not come to meet her until she is there, signified that she will only accept Kunj's presence in front of her after she herself has composed herself. Twinkle's requirement to isolate herself to make herself appear weaker is not to separate herself from Kunj but to appear as a weak prey to Yuvraj later on. This last battle waged by Yuvraj is not between Twinkle and Yuvraj but it is a transitionary phase in the war where the front line soldiers have fallen and the next in-line will pick up the weapons however both Twinkle and Yuvraj have started to grab onto the reigns of their side slowly.
I really hope I am not sounding as abrupt as I feel in my own mind. The initial scene stands very important because it finally dictates the entrance of the new players into the battlefield however the new players won't be allowed in until the old ones have claimed defeat and have closed the previous chapters themselves as this new step up switched motivations between both the parties. The stage has been set.
Before going onto the next scene, I want to touch on the Leela and Anita interaction. If you guys noticed, Leela's breakdown started out in the Sarna household and not because it is Twinkle house now but because Anita, the one who stated the rivalry had stepped up and forcefully made herself a place in Sarna household now not only has control over the Luthras but also share significant control over the Sarnas. I explained the equation Anita shares with bebe and how the power of the house is divided between the ladies. One who is present and has given away her life to keep the family together and other one, who has entered in to break the family apart.
In the pursuit of justice that will now follow Twinkle, a player from the same territory as Anita and also hailing from behind the shield of Leela Taneja with Yuvraj and Anita; would now be judged by Bebe. Bebe, the silent spectator and the observer. Her word is the final word in the household and being the matriarch she is, she will remain quiet until is time to pass the verdict. Anita's lack of time in the Sarna household has kept her oblivious of the weakness of this new set of people who will stand up against her now.
Leela's breakdown was not her defeat. I would like to think that Leela's breakdown was more of a phoenix burning itself into ashes before being born again and the person who has stood by Leela in the whole ordeal has been Twinkle, also has fallen but the rebirth of the Tanejas is going to be powerful because Tanejas have only been defending themselves till now and now they too will rise to seek revenge for the hurt that has been inflicted upon them. The white of Anita's dress implied her finally falling into the isolation pit she started digging for herself the day she blamed Leela for her crumbling life. Anita has burned herself off in the fire she ignited years ago and now it is Yuvraj's turn to burn in the same fire. Leela's white dress implied her purity and her righteousness pain way for her daughter to take charge.
The spectators of the ordeal were two people. Pinni, who had been one of the previous players and Bebe who will here on be the judge of this second war. Makes sense?
Kunj has been an unbiased spectator of Twinkle and Yuvraj's relationship and thus has been able to understand Yuvraj's motives with a keen eye since the beginning. Kunj's position between Yuvraj and Twinkle gives him the luxury to decide which side he wants to be on as his relationship with Twinkle in initial months of marriage was forced. For a great amount of while he even chose Yuvraj's words over Twinkle. Kunj realizing the space Yuvraj was in and the finding the ring signified his strategic position and his ability to recognize Yuvraj's wrongdoings.
The ring symbolizes a circle, meaning completion. It is also in form of a band which signifies being tied to something particular. Kunj pushing on the ring on Yuvi and finding the ring signified his understanding of Yuvi's actions and his desperate need for Yuvraj to be punished. The ring not fitting on Yuvraj's finger represented Yuvraj's ability to think without emotions attached when thinking about Kunj and understanding Kunj's observation about him. Yuvi has realized Kunj's changing positions however the side Kunj has chosen has not officially accepted new players yet. Kunj's inability to prove Yuvraj wrong also shows that he cannot step between Twinkle and Yuvraj equation until he ha permission from Twinkle and Twinkle will not call on for help from the Sarnas until she and Kunj have completed the last rasam of their marriage.
The last scene of between Twinkle and Kunj showcased Kunj understanding the predicament between Tanejas and Luthras and subsiding to his role of husband for time being, until Twinkle has composed herself enough to rise up and allow him to take the position he has volunteered for. Twinkle's grief-stricken claim that Mahi is alive was also a reminder to not lose on the word given by the "stars" and to know that Mahi is indeed alive.
>> For Mahi, the rope and stone signifying the decisions of her life and the gravity in her life belonging to Yuvraj however the moment Yuvraj let go of the rope, the things that are signified by the rope became Mahi's own possession. Wherever Mahi fell in the bushes and the trees, she was able to stand on her own feet and walk away from the mountain of betrayal that Yuvi pushed her off. It is also euphemism for the the betrayal that Mahi was given and the revelation of the betrayal to Mahi with Twinkle being around and constantly warning Mahi however Mahi choosing to ignore Twinkle. It reflects how Twinkle in front of her eyes saw Mahi's life being destroyed. Twinkle realized the end of Mahi and Yuvi's marriage before they even got married in front of the family so her being aware of Mahi's life right though her instincts is very much true.
With the question everyone posted yesterday, about Kunj being insecure; the track to follow and explore Kunj's stance is still being developed and so far what I can say is that the feelings will rise in Kunj in way or another but he will not openly express those insecurities to Twinkle.
The episode is setting stage for the tracks that are to come after the consummation. For this week we can expect the big revelation and Yuvi facing the punishment however it is unclear how Yuvi will escape this time. The next week we can expect the romance and consummation finally. Dynamics are changing in this journey of Love and War with the duo of Twinkle and Yuvraj finally taking charge.
