Asian Age:Two-inch nail pierces through Abhays toe

Recently while shooting for his daily show, Sisila Pyaar Ka, Abhay Vakil got badly injured. A sequence required the actor to fight the goons barefoot. While giving the shot Abhay accidentally stepped on a two-inch nail that pierced through his flesh. The injury was so grave that the actor wasn't able to walk and the shoot had to be halted for a while. The team somehow arranged a doctor and got the toe treated. Talking about the injury, Abhay says, "Yes I got injured while shooting a fight sequence. The shot was on and I didn't notice the iron nails lying on the ground. Suddenly one nail pierced through my toe. The pain was terrible and I couldn't move my leg. My production team got me medical attention. Since the show is on air seven days a week, I am shooting despite the pain without a break."

Acotrs are prone to the side effects of acting

I agree. The seven-day schedule can work well for a show with multiple tracks and lots of characters. However, SPK has limited number of characters and only one side track (vinay-his boss). This must be putting a lot of stress on the team to produce quality episodes daily.

Actors badly need law to regulate their workingnhours and compulsory rest periods
