His Lovestory
She was one of a kind, he was individual. She was as special as her name, he didn't consider himself anywhere as great as his namesake. She was called an angel, he had his own demons. She only saw the brightest stars, his eyes only viewed the black sky. She lived in her present, he dwelled in his past. Her heart was as pure as the driven snow, he had a heart darker than the blackest night. She believed in fairytales, his life was a tragedy. Her family mattered the most, he didn't care much for his family. She was as chirpy as the morning birds, his calmness reflected the night's menacing silence. She made friends easily, he had an impenetrable wall around himself. She valued joy, he only had sorrow. She was fun-loving, he worked like a robot. She believed in love, he knew enough hate. She could feel every emotion, he only felt pain. Her job was her dream, his work was his escape. She was starting her career, he was already established. She was excited for the new chapter, he was least bothered.
What would happen, when these two people with drastically different lives, collide with each other, unintentionally entering each other's life and heart? Will the girl be able to penetrate the walls the guy had built around himself or will he push her out with his everything? Will she soften his nonexistent heart or will he turn her bitter as well? Dr Manik 'Maan' Malhotra
Dr.Manik Malhotra,29 years old,Cardiac Surgeon, who was working in New Life Hospital and Research Centre.He was quite chilled out but was very much focussed in his life.His only aim was to become the best cardiac surgeon in this world and save as many lives as possible.
For him love,marriage,family didn't hold much meaning.Maybe beacause he had seen his parents troubled marriage and his not so sweet childhood which caused him to become more reserved and silent.
As a person he was basically a shy and introvertish guy who preferred to keep his emotions to himself and keep his gaurds on,all the time.He was detached and hardly ever expressed his feelings to anyone.Thanks to his best friend Cabir, because of whom everyone knew he was still human otherwise they might have believed him to be a zombie..!
Talking about his family then, he was closest to his Dadi whom he called DJ lovingly. Apart from her he had nothinh to do with his parents who had always lived in their own worlds and never really bothered to be with him, though he did care about them and longed for their love and affection.
To the world he was calm, composed and unusual quite. Although he was a heart specialist for him heart was only an organ and nothing else. But there were two people who understood him enough, Cabir and hid DJ.
