Chapter 23
Taani was busy in packing their stuff, tomorrow morning they will be leaving for pune. A new start, as he says. She was looking forward for it, this was something she had wanted since she had fallen in love with him. A life with him as his partner but now when its finally happening, she wasn't feeling that happy knowing his family is away from him and they will never accept her. For them, she will always remain the other girl who broke their son's house.
"I'm so happy, taani. Finally things are going as i planned-" Rey's happiness filled voice reach her ear and broke her trance. She gasped as he came from behind and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her impossibly close to him.
"Thats because you are a master planner. Mr. Manipulative-cunning-smart-master-planner." Taani mumbled, Rey narrowed his eyes at her.
"I'll take that as a compliment." Rey mumbled back, he nuzzled his face in crook off her neck, started placing soft feathery kisses on her neck, a sigh escaped her lips.
"Reyaansh! I have to pack, leave me." Taani whispered hoarsely, Rey smirked at the affect he had on her and tighten his grip around her.
"I don't want to. I have been away from you for almost a month, don't stop me now." Rey whispered in her ear, she could feel longing in his voice, She knew its difficult from him to control himself when it comes to her.
"Okay! Give me 10 minutes, I'll finish everything quickly then i'm yours." Taani said to him, Rey sighed and loosen his grip around her unwillingly though. Taani peck his cheek then started doing her work and much too her surprise, he helped her too which made her work easier.
"Now come here, kitty-" Rey grabbed her elbow and pulled her in his arms. Taani wrapped her arms around him and then both fell on the bed, with her on top of him. She grind her lower body against his, arousing him as well as teasing him. She unbuttoned his shirt's button with a seductive smile playing on her lips.
"You are waking the beast in me, kitty. Don't complain later if i get wild tonight-" Rey mumbled, trying to control himself but her every gesture was making it difficult.
"Don't you know, I love this wild beast." She whispered seductively, tracing his face with her index finger. His eyes darkened seeing her in the bold seductress avatar. Rey tighten his hold around her waist and rolled on the bed, taking her body beneath him. He leaned, closing the gap between their lips, he captured her lips in his. Their lips moulded into a messy wild kiss. Her hands were deep in the softness of his hair, tightening his hold around her, he pulled her up, making her wrap her legs around his waist as they deepen the kiss. Shivers passed through her body.
And she lost herself to him once again..

Next morning, Nandini woke up and called Manik on his cell phone.
"Hello, Manik."
"Yes, Nandini. You called me for?" A reply came from the other side. Ever since manik had come to know about her behavior toward taani in the college, manik was giving her cold shoulder. He was disappointed by her behavior.
"Manik, do you know where bhai is? I want to meet him." Nandini said to him, keeping her hopes high as she really want to meet her brother.
"Why do you want to meet him? If its for taunting him & taani, then sorry. I'm not telling you where he is-" Manik answered her back, nandini was angry at how he defends taani but kept her calm.
"No, Manik. I have no interest in that girl. I just want to meet my brother, his cell phone is not reachable, so i was wondering you could help-" Nandini replied back in calm tone.
"Okay, I'm coming to pick you up." Manik told her before the line went dead. Nandini thanked her god and went downstairs. Her house was not the same after whatever happened, sharon had left home which made it look almost dead. As if along with her, happiness of the house was also gone.
"Its all because of you taani, if only you hadn't come in my brother's life-" Nandini cursed taani under her breath, it wasn't a pleasant feeling at all to see her family breaking like this.

Manik and Nandini were standing outside the penthouse door.
"So this is where he stay with his keep. No wonder he never told us about his penthouse-" Nandini mumbled in barely audible tone but it was loud enough for manik to hear, he frowned.
"Stop using such cheap words for her." Manik hissed in anger.
"She deserved that." Nandini spat back harshly.
"And who are you to decide that? No girl deserve to be call with such names, so i suggest you to think twice before you speak." Manik told her causing her to frown at him. Manik shook his head, he stretched his hand and pressed the door bell.
After some moment, the door was opened and the person who opened the door was taani, she was surprised seeing nandini there, she was about to greet them happily but stopped herself as her words from yesterday ringed in her ear. No matter how much she try to act unaffected, but the truth was, her words had hurt her deeply.
"Where is my brother?" Nandini asked her in not so sweet tone.
"He is inside." Taani mumbled, she moved out their way, nandini walked pass her, ignoring her.
"Sorry for her behavior. I didn't wanted to bring her here but then i thought its will be better if she meet him before your guys leave for pune." Manik apologized on behalf of nandini and explained her about their sudden visit.
"Thats okay, manik. I am glad you brought her, Reyaansh will be happy to meet her. He might not show, but i know he is missing his family very much." Taani said to him with a soft smile. They both walked inside and the scene they saw, made them smile. Nandini was hugging her brotherly tightly, telling him how much she had missed him.
"Taani, do you have something to eat? I'm hungry-" Manik said while rubbing his tummy which made her laugh. Because of nandini, he had to miss his breakfast as he had to pick her up and brought her here.
"Come with me. I have just made super yummy breakfast-" Taani said to him, manik smile as he followed her in kitchen.
"Bhai, are you going somewhere?" Nandini asked him when she saw luggage placed behind him.
"I'm shifting to pune with taani." Rey told her softly. Nandini stepped back, hurt crossed her features.
"Bhai, why are you doing this? First you left the family now you are leaving this city. Why?"
"I didn't left house on own. Maa-Papa happily kicked me out because i decided to divorce their darling-daughter sharon. You know what, leave that, because i know for you all, sharon is the victim and i'm the villain." Rey sighed frustratingly. Nandini watched him with helplessness. She wanted to stop him, she wanted him back in their home.
"Why don't you talk to mom & dad? I'm sure they will forgive you then you can come back home." Nandini reasoned, Rey shook his head in denial. His parents might accept him again, but he knew they will never accept his relationship with taani and he doesn't want to give her more pain by letting his family insult her everyday.
"Nandini, i have made my decision, even mom-dad have made their decision. There is nothing that could be done now-"
"If you leave her, then everything will be alright. She is the main cause of all this-" Nandini said to him, Rey knew she was talking about taani who was in kitchen for which he was thankful. He didn't want her to get hurt by listening to nandini's talks.
"Leaving her is not an option. She is the one i want to be with. She is my choice, the person i want to spend rest of my life. And she is no where responsible in all this so i expect you to not to bring her in-" Rey told her calmly, even though he was angry at her but he kept him calm, not wanting to make things more complicated.
"I hope you realize she is not what she show herself to be-" Nandini mumbled, looking at her brother, Rey look at her confusingly, not understanding what she is talking about.
"I should leave now, but call me once you reach pune." Nandini said to him with a smile, then her eyes roamed around to get glimpse of manik but he was no where to be seen. Nandini turned to Rey with a questioning look.

"He is busy in eating-" Rey mumbled, pointing toward the kitchen.
"I'll call him." Rey said to her before he walked toward the kitchen, nandini followed him behind. Manik was eating the pancakes she had made while
"You lucky bas***d, you get to eat such delicious food everyday. I envy you-" Manik shouted dramatically when he noticed him. Rey narrowed his eyes at him.
"Manik, i'm getting late for college, will you hurry?" Nandini said to him, feeling uncomfortable between them, they look so comfortable with each other, making her feel left out and somewhere she was missing her & taani's friendship too, but too hurt and angry to accept that.
"One minute, nandini. I'm almost done." Manik said to her, then he turned to taani & rey.
"Call me when you reach there, I'll come this sunday to meet you both." Manik said to them, rey gave a nod in response. Manik hugged them before he left from there with nandini.
"Have your breakfast then we will leave." Taani said to him, she made him sit on the chair and served him the pancakes with his coffee.
"Where is your breakfast?"
"I'm not hungry, i'll eat something later." Taani said to him, causing him to frown.
"No way, have it with me else i'll also not eat." Rey stated stubbornly, taani sighed heavenly. Rey pulled out the chair next to him and signaled her to sit, taani obeyed and sat beside him.
"Hows everyone at your home?" Taani asked him.
"All are good." Rey mumbled quietly as he fed her with his own hand. They had their breakfast in comfortable silence after which they left for pune, starting a new journey of life together..
