Pratyusha Banerjee was an Indian television actress. She started her career with Balika Vadhuas Anandi which was very successfull. She was popularly known as Anandi by her audience. She was also a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and was one of the participants of Bigg Boss 7. She had signed as a host with reality-based crime sagaSavdhaan India for the special segment on "women against crime" with Hiten Tejwani and Sushant Singh as co-hosts. She had worked in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (TV series) in 2014 and was last seen inHum Hain Na as the main female lead. Of late, she was contesting in Power Couple with beau Rahul.[2]She committed suicide on April 1, 2016 due to issues in her personal life.[3][4] The actor passed away at Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.[5][6]
