brilliant.i am actually speechless,i have watched d episode but never felt someone can describe it this way.👏 u r too good.i loved d beginning.if i say in bengali i would say:PHATAPHATI erhhh..😃 meaning shandar...
.i feel jealous of shalu i never had a sibling to support me i have always wished to b pampered by an elder bro like viplab. oyeee you have akram.. i should cry never had a bro.. but have cuz bro but not one born of my maa.. so viplav/shalu mean special to me..
jiske pas jo ho usse uske value nehi pata hota. poor shalu.her vision is so clouded she cant understand that raja doesnt have d same spark in his eyes like viplab had for dhani,that guy left her in d mandap to b humiliated by d rest of d world, still she is acting like this.there must b an extent of being an ABALA NARI.hope she ends up being a smart, independent woman.thats what i want to see in tv shows, women empowerment. you mean shalu should become like dhani... well taz shalu will have to go through the grind to get a clearer perspective on life.. rishtay
i didnt like d episode much but now after reading ur take i feel like watching it again.
thank u for writing for us everyday dear.ur thread gives us food for thoughts n we readers r getting d opportunity to know each other here.😆 check sammy and Nus ke comments too and for your sake hope wihite coat you arewatching the episodes too grrr... taz thanks for commenting much love hammie

hi dolly
Sibling rivalry... I never really had that, I was lucky to be in the middle and was pampered by my elder brother and sister and had fun with my younger siblings as great pals. I miss the camaraderie with them all since now they are all in different part of the world.
my sisters too away from me, one in Lahore the other in downtown Toronto.. being the eldest yes got prefrential treatment from my dad...
Shaalu is going through a tough time , I do feel sorry for her, but if she had an ounce of faith in her brother she would at least try to listen for a minute to see that he has nothing to gain by his disapproval of the idiot Raja. All he wants as he always did was to wish her the best in her life. But the snake has poisoned her with his slick talk and now there is no going back for Shaalu but towards hell for near future.
great remark... but having a mother like kanak does not help either
Viplav and Dhaani's moments together are sweet and tender always inside their room while they shut the outside world and enter their love cave.
are they aware of what goes outside .. they do but... they have to be careful
Dhaani gets to enjoy Viplav and his help in the kitchen to make dinner and that too turns into their favourite pastime of hugging and enjoying each other. And moves to the dinning table to play handsies and footsies with each other.
😆 haaahooo love the way you dealt with the under the table deeds
Dulari and Badi Amma come for the rasam of "Pag Phere's" and Kanak in her usual way takes her acrimonious feelings out on two sweet and gentle guests.
This woman has no shame or a kind bone in her body.😡
ohhh come on doll for kanak its pay back time.. she will have their guts for garters
Thank you Hammie, as always a pleasure to read than actually seeing Raja and his family..
haaahaaa ,I SHOULD hope so mate...
Tak care, hope all your tomorrow's shine with the promise of good things to come.
have been out shopping... sales... so haven't watched the episode yet.. thanks abunch for your great feed back much love hammie

hi aimf dear,
how r u now?
hammie is very concerned about u, she wants me to help.
is it a simple common cold or u have other symptoms like fever,difficult breathing?
usually we prescribe anti histamines in common colds.i dont know ur job description so cant suggest u any specific antihistamine,there r both sedative n non sedative anti histamines.
sometimes home remedies work better than drug,u can have tea prepared by ginger,or whole cloves.tulsi,lemon juice can help too n honey also is a good one.
if u have excessive cough u can take cough suppressant medicantions.nasal decongestants can b taken for runny nose,u cant have it if u have any cardiac problem.
n if u have sore throat do saltwater gargle.
most important, drink more water.stay hydrated.
most viral infections gives bodyache,its very irritating but...ignore it.
lol online treatment is a funny thing,esp when u dont know d actual symptoms.hope i could help u. in developing country like ours,we dont wait for any culture sensitivity report to prescribe antibiotic,
we just prescribe d drug.n anyone can easily buy such drugs without a prescription.but i dont blv u have access to such opportunity.so online help cant b that usueful.but we miss ur beautiful comments here n ur contribution to d forum,so we want u to get well soon.

Hammie

I really admire your love and appreciation for English Literature. Maybe you study it. Its my pleasure to read references to great works even at times when I have to do my own checking. Shakespeare - King Lear I knew but Robert Browning - Pippa Passes I did not . Its was a good learning.

The start of the episode was a follow up of Viplav confronting his mom and sister requesting both to be respectful . Dhani full of gratitude and love falls at his feet to thank him and her lucky stars for such good fortune. Viplav brushes her off and pulls her by his side to share a cup of tea. It was a very well done few minutes and perfect for the verse -

The year's at the spring,
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hill-side's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven"All's right with the world!

The episode itself as you say was mediocre giving me an opportunity to look at the bigger picture.

And Shallu is the biggest concern right now. Normally I would ignore her as every other person does in the Tripathi family. You are so right when you say that she is in Love with the Concept of love , the love she sees her brother have for Dhani , she too wants that for herself. A person who has been given less importance that her male sibling for once wants attention . What is worse that her mother witnessing her "pagalpan" and still continues to ignore her plight . For the mother is so absorbed in herself and her hatred for Dhani that she is oblivious to her pain. It is Kanak's responsibility to talk to her duaghter just the way Dulaari does hers. Instead Kanak continues to make it clear to her that Viplav is the one to stay and she the one to go . Feeds her with more hatred towards Dhani completly ignoring the issue a hand. Shallu is alone in this and not her brother or her bhabhi can do anything for her right now. She needs her mother.

Kanak needs to pipe down a little else she will combust in her own anger. she disgraces herself further with her "nauker special chai ". Washing dirty linen in front of RAja and the household help . What is she so proud of ? Will she ever redeem herself ? Will she ever repent ? There has to be a beating heart somewhere , at least for her children .

Sorry Hammie ... had a busy day hence late in writing back. Take care my friend. Talk to you soon.

Lear is a tradgey ... its about an old king and his three daughters..his issue trusts the wrong people.. .. english lit is my major.. and teach that to sixth formers..too
