I love that she does not have false modesty nor does she hide her ambition. I don't follow her much, but she has been wronged a few times IMO. Especially for Barfi. Vidya DID NOT deserve it that year and being a powerful insider's wife helped IMO. It even deserved a national award, way more than Fashion IMO. I don't remember anyone from the industry saying much about her, it was all Ranbir, Ranbir, Ranbir.Know your worth and blow your own trumpet because sometimes you have to do it when no one will in this industry of favoritism and networking. GO PC !!
I know she was so so natural in Barfi. I'm saying this because I mentioned ages ago I've got 2 cousins who are autistic and her role was exactly like my cousin who's 12-13 years old and he can't really talk much but says basics like "Amma, Abba, Tea, Paani aka Water" simple words yet the way she carried out the role was superbly executed. Vidya was good but for me that year belonged to PC. Can't believe she didn't win that year.
