Aaj bhaiya raaja ne kuch alag hi band bajaaya.

Jokes apart ,In families how our relationships get entangled and though we all love each other and want the other to be happy but end up in a big mess of emotions where none is happy

We are witnessing that in tripathi khandaan.
Viplav wants to be a good elder brother and father to shalu and wants to see her happy. and as shalu's only happiness lies in getting married he has chosen a boy for her who is a good candidate as he was immediately acceptable to all.
here viplav has used his good image and relationship with the boys family to convince them .

And yet he is causing great pain to shalu. To a certain extent her frustration is understandable, this girl has been at the receiving end of all.
but what is irritating about her is she is not analysing things rationally. (Which again probably is difficult in the situation she is in)
Her brother has always been close to her and so she subconsciously takes the liberty of venting out her anger on him. we all do. we love that person a lot but yet in tough situations that person bears the brunt of our anger. And here all the more as its viplav's dhani who shalu feels is the root cause.
Viplav has laid such claim on dhani (HAMari dhani. hamari dhani)

And so all trying to do good for the other but are hurting each other . its like a whirl pool , you go round and round and round and if you dont escape it sucks you innn
This raja whirlpool will suck shalu in.

bhaiya raaja is trying hard ki behna ki shaad me band bajaye . per abhi toh pure tripathi khandaan ki band baj rahi hai.

She needs the love and support of a good mother which she does not have, hence she has grown up craving for love and attention, and now she is desperate to hang on to the so called love for Raja. She is not thinking rationally that Viplav being her brother is thinking for her best in the future.

As @capkirk said this is where a mother comes in to guide a daughter .

Similar to what Dulaari and Badi Amma did for Dhani .

Tripathi women KT is vicious and Dadi is passive .

A brother can do what Viplav did but yes he needed to inform Shallu before inviting the guy.

Very aptly put meenakshi.
Shaaluz angst can be very well understood. And so is Viplav's love for his family. But I somewhere agree with shalini when she says... Viplav's faith is correct and hers wrong... That's not acceptable. She also indirectly hints at the gender disparity displayed in Indian homes.
One biiig hug to the cvs for that moment between the bro and sis, superb. I think that was very realistic. Most bros would behave like that... And most sisters in shalini's situation will behave the same.
I also liked the fact that Kanak chose another point to hit it out on dhaani.. "Jab Sare fails baharvaale lets hair"... Thankfully Viplav dint lose his cool to further worsen the situation.

I liked the fact that like a true friend... Dhaani tells Viplav to talk to shalini when the frame of mind is correct.. Not in the heat of the moment.

I wish shaalu gets the truth behind raja fast... That guy Shekhr looked cute for her.

Nice post meenu. Viplav is trying to calm shalu. But she is not ready to hear anything. Even KT is not doing anything for shalu. I feel bad for Shalu.

Both viplav & shalu were correct in their own place bt halaat sahi nahin hai.As somebody said Insaan galat nahin hota uske halaat galat hote hain. Its the matter of time only. Along with time only shalu will b able to understand whether she is right or wrong. And yes if Shalu had got enough attention & love from her mother then she wud not long for it from Raja. Its easy to trap a person emotionally who feels all alone & ignored. I liked the way cvs showed shalu's obvious frustration. Good episode. Hope shalu gets to know the actual face of raja very soon.
