Someone posted a TOI article in Twitter that VD bagged ML role in EK new show ' Kavach' in colors tv. Is it true?

If it is true good for him and YHM.

n wich vl b in 2017 nt ds yr..

i saw an inerview yday in nagin segment of sbb/sbs/sbas i dnt remebr..

n arjun bijlani said.. he has no idea bout his own role..

actor Vivek Dahiya seems to be on a professional and personal high. Following his engagement with Divyanka Tripathi, the heroine in 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' (YHM), he has now bagged the role of the male lead Rajbir in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming show 'kavach on colors

He is currently seen as ACP Abhishek Singh in YHM. Vivek remained unavailable for comment.

As reported by us earlier, Mona Singh will play the protagonist in the new show, which is an interesting take on the life of a woman, who can go to any extent to protect her husband, even if it's from the clutches of an actual daayan (witch).

Good news for all if that's true.
He will get a role where he doesn't have to do much as it's gonna be a very much female lead centric show. But he'll get a lead role nonetheless. YHM will be spared from him. Win-win for all. Lol.
Hope DT gets married to him before his new show starts to avoid the repeat of the history.

seems like channels and production houses are more interested in bhootni and chudails rather then in realistic shows
first ssk, then naagin and now this...
look like now Ekta have strong believe on bhootnis and naagins 🤣
