Sonam Kapoor to do Rakeysh Mehra's Delhi

It is a perfect start in the glamorous career of Bollywood for Sonam Kapoor. A big debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya and now her next film is with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra of Rang De Basanti fame.

Sonam had bagged her second film, Delhi 6 even before the release of her first film, Saawariya. Anil Kapoor and Sonam both sat together to hear the script and gave their approval. She will be paired opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the film. Delhi 6 has gone through a change of nearly seven actors till now. Mehra has zeroed down upon Abhishek and Sonam now and the two actors will be officially signed this week.

The film will go on the floors by next month. UTV and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will be jointly producing the film.
