Hey Areeba! It's a pleasure to finally read your analysis. Everyone really recommends your posts and now I can see why! This is great. Your attention to detail is impressive to say the least! Can you be my Sherlock? LOL
Since I'm a self proclaimed feminist *ahem* I'm usually drawn to the struggles and triumphs of the female protagonist more than anything in a show. But this time around I can't help but focus my attention on the two male leads. Their characters are so profound. I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I love how affable Kunj's character is, but Yuvi stood out more in today's episode. "Who will arrest me" that one dialogue spoke volumes about his character! The overconfidence, the disregard of authority or any sort of consequences...I'm gonna go ahead and diagnose him with affluenza. The kid needs treatment!
I'm recommended? Did not know that. Thanks to everyone who recommended me! 😳
LOL I'm not as good as Sherlock at all.
I find a lot of values and ideals that Kunj has adopted to be supportive of feminist ideals or of equality. There are many instances where he has taken up a sexist route but I find his character a significant improvement then what is being displayed on TV. Yuvraj is the villan of this show but the love-hate soaps are using people like Yuvraj with their traumatized upbringing and weak background to put them forth as anti-hero protagonists.
today's episode definitely belonged to Yuvraj. He is throwing spears left and right in his anger without paying any attention to the consequences. Like I said, Luthras do not care about casualties when things get tough.
I thin twinkle's character is very strong as well. Despite being completely broken, she stands tall emotionally. I liked the spirited streak in her before the trials of marriage with Kunj fell on her. It showed off her individuality. I do hope that Twinkle's character is reconstructed back towards that spirited nature. The current evolvution of her character is really good so far imo.
Thank you for your comment!
