One thing I have to admit about SRK, he sure knows how to promote his movies. Be it even a crappy movie, he ensures that it's well publicized and that most people know about it. Marketing well is half the battle won.

why sawaariya fans are against srk?


first of all, I don't even have indian channels so I don't follow media. I joined this website 2006 so I get to read all the media's responds and all that.

Before 2006 without watching or hearing from the media promoting movies, I watched movies because I like the story

😕 I completely agree with you...I don't understand why people just cannot accept the fact ...And both the films have earned their fair share of money...Saawariya too...But its OSO that has emerged more successful 😃 ...And its not like Saawariya has been ignored...Every article talks about the two films together 😳

Personally, I don't think that the media is promoting SRK...Since they are usually harsh on him...If they liked it, they praised it! 😃 I thought SRK was awesome in OSO... 👏 👏 👏

😆😆😆 He said the same thing to me. The guy is now crazy for Deepika and OSO. He panned Saawariya like anything. He must be reading this thread too😉

I completely agree Media is completely promoting SRK.
All the news cahnnels only talk about SRK,be it NDTV,Times Now,Headlines Today,AAj Tak etc..
They said that saawariya is a flop on friday itself and saawariya was housefull for the whole weekend.

They are tied up with SRK,you cannot call this absurd coz such things are common.,They are called as media partners wherein they are paid to promote the movies.So it is the money talking .So if Saawariya producers had shelled out the cash ,they would have gone on and on about it also.

See it's fine if the channels want to promote a particular movie. But they shouldn't pull down the other one. Just state the facts and move on. I was shocked when they declared Saawariya a flop one day after its release!! Arre baba theek hai...it wasn't getting a great response...so say that...say ppl are not liking it...but you can't declare it a flop just like that!!

Anyways let's forget this non sense. Both the movies have done well. OSO has done tremendously well so congrats to the OSO team. Saawariya is doing well too and is getting rave reviews right now so congrats to the Saawariya team. Everyone made a profit so everyone is happy. Now we should all stop and be happy and move on!!

Brilliant point... I just cud not understand how all the sources consistently termed Saawariya as a flop even when it had the biggest opening with 2 new-comers.. Why was there this fishy consistency in almost all critic reviews of Saawariya and OSO... This has not been the case for many movies for a long long time? Why does it seem that the media and the critics are like on this mission of making people dislike Saawariya, whereas most of the people I know on the internet and the real world are actually loving Saawariya... This all seems very very cocky! Someone surely seems to have taken the 'destroy them' mission seriously, and is all out to get that done anyhow - throwing all ethics out of the door!! And - to me a movie lover - that sounds extremely distasteful!!

I'm with both of u...OSo was ok-ok movie...but sawariya was better...in every way..But u can't compare the 2 movies

Abt news channels..I'm just tired of them..they bring saawriya cast to the show & flash...pit gayi saawriya...whats this..??who said pit gayi.??
