Can Kareena resurrect her career with Ki and ka ?

Have ever been her fan, but loved her in Omkara and Talaash. She has been the only one from her time who actually lacks a good body of work, because her competitors like Priyanka and Rani has an amazing filmography, i can actually point out some great roles by both PC and Rani, some great character roles by Aishwarya even, but with Kareena her body of graph amuses me, not too much rich of quality but she still is very popular and is very beautiful too.

She had an amazing body of work. But sadly her choices post 2012 have been extremely questionable which pulls her filmography down. She's been in some great movies and have constantly delivered acting-wise - you can't take that away from her. She used to be versatile, edgy and had a good balance in her career. God knows why she took her success for granted and stopped caring after marriage. I understand that she may have other priorities but it was perfectly possible to sign good movies. It's not as though she stopped working post marriage. She just did boring, bad movies with no scope (except BB, great movie but still ZERO scope).

Oh and she hasn't signed anything yet. She has Udta Punjab which sounds great but is not a career-defining movie. I suppose she's waiting to see the response to Ki & Ka before deciding on her next. It's a brave move and shows confidence as she might be hoping that this will propel her back to the top spot.

Ki & Ka could be another Jab We Met or another Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. So far the trailer has been liked, songs are popular, buzz is decent and the response from trial shows has been good (but then when are they not?). I personally am not expecting much from this as I haven't enjoyed Balki's movies before but I really hope that at the very least it's a well made movie, not too predictable and that Kareena has a really meaty part where the actress in her can revolt again. I seriously miss watching her. She's terrific. If only she realised that.

If this bombs however, she'll have a tough time bouncing back and I suppose she'll succumb to signing yet one of those blockbuster movies (Golmaal 4 most likely)...

I don't think the movie will do her any good or harm for that matter.

Omkara and Jab we met are her only stand out performances for me really. PC n bebo are the only ones to have survived from their time and PC is far ahead .as a global star now.

Bebo will do one off movies here and there for years to come but nothing will make her hot property.
