Ranjib Mazumder Rajeev Khandelwal It looks like Rajeev Khandelwal's TV roles haven't prepared him well enough for films. The small screen's heartthrob has been attending acting classes to prepare for his big screen debut, Aamir. Theatre and film actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been grooming him for a while. Nawazuddin, an alumnus of National School of Drama, was more than happy to help a friend. Rajeev says, "Nawazuddin has been part of films like Black Friday, etc. He is an ex-NSD student and has been doing theatre for a long time. He knows a lot about acting. He has been of great help for me. His theatre techniques were an eye-opener for me." Nawazuddin was unavailable as he is busy with his marriage preparations. However, we spoke with his brother, Shamaazuddin Siddiqui. He said, "Rajeev wanted some lessons in acting. My brother has given him training in diction and dialogue delivery." Rajeev has quit his television show Left Right Left for his film debut in Aamir, produced by Anurag Kashyap. Rajeev's homework looks like this: Dance - Rajeev has a stiff body. Needs to improve dancing skills Dialogue delivery - He has good screen presence, but his dialogue delivery is not clear Emotional scenes - He can pull off romantic scenes, but can't cry convincingly Self-consciousness - He needs to let go. Thanx 4 posting.Rajeev has joined the classes to do much better work but I don't agree with some of the things of this article.

well i have watched only lrl with rajeev. i don't agree with the part that he cannot cry. if no one believes me watch the 27th nov clip where raj tells naina abt naveen committing suicide. he cried so well - i actually thought it was for real.
as for dialogue delivery apart from smriti irani i think he is the only actor that i have seen deliver an episode long delivery at one go. watch the courtroom scene where raj defends naina from bhargav. it was fantastic and my favourite scene till date.
he is a bit fast sometimes in his dialogue but that can be adjusted.
any way it is good that he is in the acting school. he can polish his acting even more. great actors like rajat kapoor, anupam kher and many others have been to one despite the fact that they r extremely talented. so i think it is good in a way that raj wants to try it out too..

Agreed abt his dancing skills/ability...he needs to work hard on that...!!!

Disagreed on the crying part....his crying has improved a lot...if u hv watched him in KTH n den LRL....he was much better in LRL...wich means he has improved...!!!

Wht if he is taking classes....not a big deal....classes can teach u only technical aspects ....emotions style n all cum naturally...!!!

awww raj cnt cry convincingly..ha ha ha ha...joke of the millenium....i agree with the article when it cums to his dancing and few dialogues being unclear...and also he is a bit self concious....but he cannot cry....plzzz ha i think this is sumthng he does reaaalllyyy well....he has the ability to make other cry with him...chalo i ask u guys how many of u cry seeing him cry in any scene.. i think most of u hai na...this proves his ability to cry convincingly....

anyways am really happy ke he is taking dance classes as he really needs to work hard on it if he wants to be successful in commercial cinema...
