Shilpa Shinde doesn't turn up for shoot-India Today!!

According to reports, the actress who plays the role of Angoori Bhabhi in &TV's Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, did not turn up for the shoot on Monday despite being directed by CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes' Association) to resume the shoot.

DNA quoted a source as saying, "Shilpa didn't come to shoot today and now, a legal proceeding will be in place against her for sure."

Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai's producer Binaifer Kohli had earlier slammed the actress for breaching the contract and said she will take legal action if Shilpa doesn't return to the show.

On Thursday, CINTAA directed Shilpa to resume shooting for the show citing that if she signed an exclusivity contract with a production house, she cannot leave it midway.

Sushant Singh, honorary general secretary, CINTAA and member of Joint Dispute Settlement Committee (JDSC) said, "Yes Shilpa has been asked to do what is legally and ethically correct. We have told her to report on the sets and continue shooting for the show."

Singh also warned Shilpa that if she won't follow the orders, strict action will be taken against her.

"We also found that she has been lying to the media by saying that she is being replaced. That is not the case at all. In fact, the producer is keen on having the actress back on the show. If she doesn't follow our decision, a disciplinary action will be taken against her", he added.

Shilpa quit the show accusing the production house of mental torture and went on to sign Kapil Sharma's new show, The Kapil Sharma Show. Now that the TV artistes association has ruled against Shilpa, it is quite likely that she may not be able to shoot for Kapil's show either.

Meanwhile, TV producer Ekta Kapoor has come out in support of Binaifer Kohli.

"#binaiferkohli d producer of d super hit #bhabhijigharpehai is taking legal action against their unprofessional actor! Producers on tv wodout IP work d hardest n earn d last! I urge all my fellow producers to stand by binaifer in her quest to get justice! (sic)," Ekta posted on her Instagram account.
