Four years ago, 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' saw a big change " Devoleena Bhattacharjee stepped in as the new Gopi bahu after actress Giaa Manek was replaced almost overnight.
Devoleena was soon accepted by audiences and now the actress has put her foot down and expressed a desire to quit, unhappy with the time leaps in the show. Currently, Devoleena's daughter is shown pregnant, which means very soon she will have to play a grandmother.
She says, "Isn't it enough that a young woman like me is playing mother to such grown-up girls? I was patient so far. But I certainly won't be comfortable playing a grandmother. I will wait till the creative team takes a decision. If they take a leap, I will quit."
