The episode was really fantastic in my opinion. Kinda made me rack my brains for a while and even after I am done writing this, I feel like I am missing out on one thing or another.
The episode started with Kunj telling Twinkle to come join him. The silent conversations through their expressions were adorable and reflected on their ability to be comfortable with each other and stand by each other despite the storms going through their lives.
Chaudhry has considered Twinkle as part of the house and elevated her to the status of a daughter/family member of the house after seeing her determination reflected through her worth ethic. Twinkle has also remained silent thus far and not divulged on any details of her life which makes her more trustworthy then Kunj in Chaudhry's eyes. In yesterday's analysis I mentioned that Chaudhry is a righteous man and does possess a strong moral compass however his way of putting his intentions into actions falls under the wrong side because of there severity. Twinkle has became his rightful daughter by proving her work abilities, by volunteering to work after being held responsible for a mishap she didn't cause and by standing by his decisions.
When Twinkle decides to serve the men, she serves only two until Rajjo falls. She serves the Chaudhry and skips over Sangram before walking towards Kunj. In the EP 172/3 analysis, I mentioned that Rajjo is a mirror of Twinkle's past. For Twinkle, the most important person is her mother and after her it used to be Yuvraj however for her mother's happiness she was willing to sacrifice her love for Yuvraj. By skipping over Sangram, Twinkle has eliminated the importance of Yuvraj and his threats in her love, giving priorities to the people she loves. The transition in developing this charateristic of Twinkle has been subtle and I have enjoyed watching a Twinkle who has learned that 'love' of your own stays and sticks with one rather then the energy that goes down the drain in order to actively fight the war of the opposition.
The scene with the chili was adorable. *blooper alert: the couch Kunj was sitting on is present at the Taneja household. Not Sarnas.*
Chilli symbolizes protection from the evil, fidelity and love. Twinkle offering and making sure that every food Kunj eats has chillies mixed in symbolizes the fact that she has been to loyal to Kunj since the beginning and has expected the same from him since there marriage. I think the incorporation was very apt especially since right after the news of Kunj being supposed father of Rajjo's child is revealed.
The revelation has brought forth the severity of the situation forward which so far had been hiding behind lies and lightheartedness. Rajjo has been left a burden and physical presence of love by the person she had considered the love of her life similar to as Twinkle has been left by Yuvi, a broken heart and weighted past that brings nothing but sad memories but wisdom to recognize what love really is. Sangram treating his sister in a violent manner reflected on how Yuvraj had always treated Twinkle brutally through emotional and verbal abuse every time he had felt his plans and his goals wavering because of her inclination towards anyone but him.
The firing of two bullets indicated cease fire from Chaudhry. He has declared his decision and he longer seeks to impose any of his decisions on Rajjo just as Leela had refused to speak to Twinkle until she had proven herself.
The marriage date has changed. 2+2=4-2=24. Meaning, that instead of 2 we will have 24 hours left at disposal. 24 symbolizes the union of sky and earth to form harmony. Twinkle is the sky while Kunj symbolizes the earth from th meaning of his name to his grounded nature to bottle everything. It also dedicates itself to inner wisdom and once Twinkle brings her hand forward to let the gun not hurt Kunj, it shows how she will the one to rescue him from the web of lies.
1 in itself symbolizes new beginnings which will collide with Holi.
> Holi festival marks the beginning of spring with the defeat of evil. Although I would've preferred a more familial Holi celebration because of Kunj and Twinkle's first Holi, I can understand the incorporation of it especially when this is the last war Yuvraj can wage against the two before accepting his defeat.
The last interaction between Kunj and Twinkle was in the outhouse with both on the bed. What I absolutely loved about the scene was the acting. The emotionally drained look and the exhaustion on both there faces from the stressful circumstance jumping on them from one after the other displayed the vulnerability of both of them. In an instance where both need each other, they are finally there with each other to help each other out through the ordeal that can mean more then what they both are trying to let on to each other. The dialogues by Twinkle were far more stronger then those of Kunj because of her openness to deal with overflowing emotions. The surprise in Kunj's eyes was beautifully portrayed by Kunj when she declared that it was so much hard for her to be separate from him, how can she ever imagine herself without him. Twinkle has granted him all the rights and made sure that she understands but the progress and ability to not speak at the most vulnerable moment in front of Twinkle is holding Kunj back. The elephant behind Twinkle signified the strength she holds in herself for the poepll she loves and how she will also restore Kunj's honor in front of this family. I would love to see how he will react when Twinkle successfully accomplishes in her mission.
The brief hug between the two symbolized how Twinkle can allow her emotions t get the best of her and as long as it concerns him, Kunj welcomes those however Twinkle breaking away showed how she understands that there contact with each other in physical context is not okay but she was grateful for the support Kunj has offered her and had risen up to her expectations in previous two episodes. The whole scene was beautifully sketched.
Coming onto Mahi and Yuvi. Throughout the ordeal where Yuvi has gone off too deal with his frustrations, the only thing that relaxes him is talking about Twinkle. He feels content and at peace whenever Twinkle and her life is at his mercy. It was interesting to see how Yuvi went into a resort called 'Royal' for he embodies a glamorous lifestyle where he has been accustomed to get his way with everything. Water is a cleansing element and in the water, the true thoughts from Yuvi came out to which mahi became a spectator. Half the truth is out on itself, and half is remaining which will come out on it's own through Yuvi's mouth.
Mahi steps falter as she remembers the past and walks into the pool. I symbolized for me how Mahi was reluctant to be in a relationship with Yuvraj but had been eased into his presence. Her walking into the pool that Yuvi had just been in symbolized how Yuvi's truth has ripped her world apart and shattered her trust and faith in him. She lets herself be free and falls into the pool which lets her dupatta float away and washes away her sindoor. In spiritual sense, Mahi has lost everything she proudly carried her own and that dignified her status in the society. In Mahi's eyes, Yuvi no longer holds the spear of a moral compass that she once believed him to hold.
All from me. I hope once this Manohar track ends, the family is utilized more because we've been getting majority of the stuff from the trio and the daily grueling hours are showing on their faces. Not ideal to have your actors under stress and exhaustion.
