I don't think Shravan's dad is a victim here. I think he is hiding something , he manipulated Shravan to think his mom was bad.

Remeber when he came to Sumo's home to give news of Shravan's arrival and Nanaji complained about Sumo. He said for a woman family is everything not work.I think maybe he don't like career oriented women. Maybe Shravan's mom was career oriented and independent and he never liked it so the fights.

I have this fear he will object of Suman being the DIL bc of her doing business.

@bold i was thinking that,. she might have left due to her career and all, but i dont think they ll show ramnath to be that negative. as to him family matters alot. specially after father son scene.

I agree to some extent but really this show is unpredictable... Esp after today's flash back scene... And the Actor playing Shravan's dad is FAMOUS for playing layered character, so really don't want to rule out your theory

Well yeah thats also true. His family does matter a lot or else he wouldn't bear chachis drama.I love that Father-Son convo. On the other hand maybe this love for family was the reason for the drift. He wanted her to be in the house, being a homemaker.

You never know. There sure is more to this than meets the eye. So in fact for Shravan, he got rejected twice in the same week? His Mother left and his close friend acted like she didn't even care what was going on in his life. I think that was the last straw for him.

About Ramnath, he is a nice guy but he doesn't like career minded girls..it was proved multiple times..

1) When he tells Suman that family comes before work, Nanaji says work comes first
2)He doesn't like Sumo much , may b bcos she is working woman..I might be wrong.. the day shravan was coming , she goes to his room and he is quite rude to her.. but in front of her nanaji he is good to her..
3) may b his wife was career minded and hence left him and shravan.. chachi also says that I have found a girl for shravan just like you want..homely..

he isn't dark character but feels girls should be stuck at home.. guess shravan has same attitude ..in first promo he says why did they give such important case to a woman..
