I love Maya Ali, Mehr! She's one of my favorite Paki telly actresses. I love her with Osman Khalid Butt (of Diyar-E-Dil fame). I think Mann Mayal started off slow because the story would later become an intense love quadrangle. Humza Ali Abbasi is very natural in his role. I haven't watched any of his other dramas, but I'm liking his pairing with Maya. Are you watching any other Paki dramas?

Yup I know OSMAYA are my fav couple...im shipping them in real...yes I love WAFA...I watched the show n their scenes were lovely, subtle n romantic...I loved the whole starcast in the show n the stiry was good too, cried a lot wen walis dad passed away...

I too am shipping them in real life! They were amazing as Wali and Farah. I agree, the star cast was stellar. Couldn't imagine anyone else, but Abid Ali as Agha Jaan.
I too hope that Maya and Humza end up together in the end. I just finished watching Sangat. The cast of Sangat was amazing as well, but I couldn't connect with the story. I've heard good things from my mom about Gul-E-Rana.

I was watching sangat...watched 6 episodes n stopped...couldnt take the negativity n rhonadhona...it was dark for my taste...I kno such things happened but I wasnt in a mood for anything depressing...Wenever I used to watch saba,my mood was always off...btw wat was the end ???

Agha jasn is my all time fav in the show...wat a daddu he is to his grandchildren...I jus love the show for its uniqueness and lthe immense love potrayed in relationships n emotions...I did connect to mist of them n felt emotional...Everything about them from locales,to background music,acting...par excellence...

Gule rana is good...inbetween it was getting boring monotonous...now again it has picked up pace...The story was going gud when it started but dragged in between...but better than sangat for me atleast cos the gal is no nonsense n a good match to the guy...IF u want to see Adeel the lead guys baddie boy troublesome attitude with a silver lining towards the end...then I think u should...

My issue with Sangat was the glamorization of a rapist and the hard headedness of a husband. She was raped. She didn't choose to cheat on you and have an affair. I can tolerate a depressing story if the characterization is strong and the plot has meaning, but this drama made no sense. I was really put off when Aisha hid her rape from Adnan. I couldn't comprehend why she was being influenced by her mother and psychiatrist. Their advice complicated things even further. Shavez professed to be madly in love with Aisha since their childhood, yet he disrespected her in the worst kind of way by raping her. I watched the entire drama hoping for some kind of clarification or even an attempt at an explanation, but the writer didn't provide any.
In the end, Adnan found out that it was Shavez who had raped his wife. He shot him point blank and killed him. He accepted Sangat as his daughter and took back his wife.
