Mama has always been jealous of Bhavari. Munmun is taking revenge for her brother's death. Even though Veer has been the bigger villain so far, he is less dangerous as he is an outsider. Plus this veer-chanda angle does not seem to have worked for show.I think they are sort of cleaning the slate with all the changes like Shamsher-Aradhaya marriage, her father's vachan and death, veer exposure at jet speed, etc. It is almost like another leap... New storyline and negative characters will probably come out of all these changes.
