...Rudra made paro to take rest in her room and he started to do his office work. Paro lied on the bed and thought how her life changed completely, thinking about everything at last the tiredness over took her and slept in no time.
Chapter 6:
Rudra woke up suddenly by hearing some sweet sound. He slowly woke up and met a beautiful fairy face. Paro was standing near him with a cup of tea in her hand a smile in the lips and the word " rudra ji " echoed in the room. It took a minute for rudra to register it and a lumped formed in his throat after his mother it's his wife was giving his favorite, tea without asking. He took the cup and said " rudra ". Paro gave him a confused look and said "ji"?. " Ji nahi only Rudra, call me like that". His tone was rough which made paro to flinch a little and nodded her head in yes. Rudra was shocked by seeing the time its 7.30 pm, he had never slept more than 4 hrs he remembered how he was no moode to do office work so he he closed all the files and slept. The smell of home cooked food pulled rudra out from his boring room to the kitchen. There his wife was stirring something in the pan and making dough and blowing the air to the hair which is disturbing her eyes. Rudra saw his cute beautiful wife body shaking while doing the work which made his inner desire to wake up. He was sure his wife was a pure seducer and his life was going to depending on cold water. Again the dinner was silent affair. Rudra was not able to lift his head from the plate he lost the count after 7th roti. Food was finger licking good which is proved by rudra' s plate and finger.
Rudra taught how to operate the TV and other object in hall. Night was nearing but sleep was far away for both of them. Paro was so eager in seeing tv, back there she has only seen tv very less. At 10 both went to the room, paro was guided to her room. The room was big it gave fear; darkness made her heart beat faster. Rudra told her to sleep and if need any help means call him who will be in the next door. She nodded her head by hiding the fear, it was her first time in sleeping in the bed alone. The room was bigger than her home in Rajasthan. She closed the eyes and prayed to god that sleep should come fast. Paro remembered the talk with her mother when she was small. "mom will my Rajkumar play with me?" her mother laughed and gave a kiss in the check and told "yes your rajkumar will play with you, he will teach all the new things and he will make my paro forget this whole world and will fly with you to the other place". Paro stood up adamantly and said "mom I want him to play groom and bride game, doctor and patient game and amma and papa game that's all after playing he can go to his house I will sleep with you and my papa only." Tears rolled down from the check by thinking about her parents. She cried herself to sleep. It was past mid night but sleep was far away for rudra, his wife is sleeping in the next room he don't know what to do, if he sleep near her she will be comfortable or not. Suddenly he heard some voice shouting, he ran from his room to paro's room.
He was shocked to see the happening in front of his eyes, his wife was shouting to leave her parents and not to burn them. Rudra took paro heard in his hand and wiped the tears and sweat. He asked her to calm down and breath. "mom, papa your paro is asking to get up, pls get up otherwise they will burn you. Mom get up it will pain so much...fire ...fire...mom...papa" rudra completely took paro body with him and made himself comfortable in the bed and covered her body with his. Continues 5min rudra murmured some words to smooth paro, he felt her relaxing in his hold. Few minute later he slowly with draw himself from her. With a glass of water rudra woke her in a slow voice and for the first time he called his wife by name. "paro...paro...get up...paro its me rudra...paro". paro opened her eyes and felt the surrounding very different and then her eyes caught her husband sitting in front of her with the worried expression. She drank the whole glass of water. "paro...what happen did you have a bad dream?". Her eyes met his there she was so much concern, her eyes become misty. "my parents died in the accident, they all burned in front of my own eyes. I call them to...get up...but they didn't hear my ...words...they left me" more tears flowed the older once. Rudra came forward and hugged her, his arms provide some strength to her. He heard her saying "my parents kept a pet name paro...after them there was no one to call me by that name." rudra loosed his hold and made her to lie in the bed and promised her that he will also sleep near her only. Paro slowly opened her eyes to conform that rudra is really sleeping near her when she was he was having soundless sleep, she came forward and clutched his pajam hand tightly and slept with peace. Rudra lips made a small smile by seeing his wife's gustier.
Morning breakfast was so good, rudra introduced pro to the entire servant in the home. He was happy that paro made his all favorite for the breakfast, while eating without his knowledge he mourned when his mouth tasted his favorite potato curry. By 11 rudra took paro for shopping, before leaving home he adjusted the saree witch paro had wrapped in somewhat normal way. In the shopping mall rudra helped paro in escalator and the joy in paro eyes were worth watching. She giggled and cutely admired each and everything and people. The selection for salwar suit was completely done by rudra, he brought the whole shop in front of his wife and made her to choose. Paro was astonished by seeing the cost, she pulled rudra hand complain about the cost and told that they are all cheating them. Rudra could only laugh by seeing his wife's pout when he said its common in this type of place. All the color's dress were chosen and for the altering also given and made to delivery at the home. Then he took her to lady's inner wear items section. Rudra left paro with the sales girl to assist her in selecting inner wears item. When rudra was passing by his eyes caught a royal blue color half saree. The work showed its simple yet outstanding. He wants to buy that but he stopped by thinking his wife was not comfortable in saree types, so he dropped the idea. He went back to check his wife and that time he heard paro talking to the sales girl "I have never worn this type of dresses my mami didn't buy and give, she bought only for her daughter I was made to wash that dress. Its all new to me you itself select." Rudra moved away from that place his anger rose high, he made some call to some people. His phone call was intruded by the sales girl whom he asked to help his wife. "sir your wife need some help. Pleas follow me". The tone has some mischief and the giggle made rudra to wonder. When the girl showed the direction, he saw paro was showing her back towards him. He slowly went near and heard her murmuring "how I will wear this...its show all...how they can put such dress." Rudra smirked and cleared his throat to get attention from his wife. Paro flushed by seeing rudra to close. Rudra ordered some night dress with full length pajama and cotton night dress for paro. Paro sighted loudly by seeing that her body will be fully covered. Next rudra took her to the ornaments section and selected all modern verity type bangles, earing, chain and necklace. Paro was not interested in those modern types her attention was dragged by glass bangles. She moved slowly towards the bangles and touched that, she felt the shape and its sound. Her mom always used to wear only glass bangles. Her dad will daily buy for mom. She was so anger and asked bangles for her " paro your small girl glasses may hurt you. Don't worry your rajkumar will buy colorful bangles for you." Tears filled in her eyes and when she pounced the word mom, rudra know that glass bangles has to be connected to her mother. He changed the entire modern item with traditional items. The girl asked paro to give the bangles back because she wants to pack. Paro wiped her tears and gave back, she asked for the cost of one set, sales girl looked at her and said "madam your husband bought all the glass bangles in this shop".
It was late afternoon they entered 3 star hotels to have lunch. Rudra took paro in the lift to the private dining area. It is best roof top romantic dinning in the city. Paro opened her mouth wide by seeing the city top view; it's so huge she roamed the whole roof from corner to corner to look around. Rudra sat in his chair and watched his wife who is crazily running. She jumped up and down by showing the flight in the air, the waiter who is arranging the food gave the lust look towards paro. Rudra caught him and dragged out the floor to throw out. He was not able to digest when someone looking at his wife with the bad eyes. When he return he saw paro in the floor and winching in pain. He ran towards her and shouted "can't you be careful? What if you badly hurt?". Paro pouted and she with draw her hand from him and slowly raised with the help of table. "its not my mistake I was trying to catch the butterfly only but some stupid has kept this round round tables in the middle, why cant they keep it in the corner". rudra rolled his eyes and said nothing. Both hade there lunch, for the first time rudra didn't like the food, he missed his wife tasty food. After returning home rudra gave new cell phone to her and explained how to operated. After arranging the dress in her room paro made a call to Dhisher papa and talked for hours. When the tiredness over took her she slept in the sitting pose itself. Rudra made paro to sleep comfortable and he started to do his office work. His mind remembered the question which paro asked while giving the mobile " paro use this so that if any emergency means you can call me." Paro gave the blank look "that means you will leave me?" her voice cracked, it showed the deep sadness and fear. Rudra assured her that he has to leave for work and will return soon, and then only she felt relaxed.
It was night and rudra was searching for paro. She has been missing for past 10min which made him so restless. Finally he entered her room which again showed empty but he didn't leave it he called her name. "Rudra...i am here" her voice was dull he can understand it. He went inside and looked at the voice direction, there paro was sitting in the floor with the pillow and looking at the window. "paro what happen why you're sitting here?" paro wiped her tears and said "I am missing my parents, so only looking at them. See the moon and stars they are my parents. Every night by seeing them I will close my eyes. Their kitchen was so convenient for me." Rudra looked at her and asked "why Kitchen at night?". Paro bowed her head down and said "I used to sleep there only". Rudra was astonished by hearing that in the night it will be very cold in the desert area how she adjusted it. Rudra took paro to his room and made her to sleep in the bed. Both didn't talk for long time. Slowly rudra asked "paro, why you went with your mami? You could have choose others na?". paro shook her head in no and said "all others said my parents will not come back, only my mami told that they will come back and they also ask her to take me to her home. So I went with her... She told me that If do all the works means she will ask my parents to come soon. So I did everything whatever she said...but my parents didn't come. When I shouted at her for telling lies...she...she...beat me rudra, she beat me with long stick it pained a lot. I waited for my papa to come at smooth my pain but he didn't come, rudra. They told me when returning they will get groom doll for me I waited, waited but they didn't come to me rudra. Why they cheated me? am I that much bad?" rudra couldn't take more so he got up and pulled paro for the tight hug. She cried more in his arm. After so many years rudra had tears in his eyes. He smoothed her and said sweet words which made paro to relax and sleep in his arm itself. Rudra looked at his wife who is sleeping in his arm with the dried tears. He made her to sleep next to him, he lovingly saw his wife holding his pajama hand tightly. He made himself comfortable and kept looking at his wife. He made a promise within himself that he will not get anger on her and will always protect her from this evil world. His ultimate motive is to bring all the happiness in his paro life.
