Here we go with the next update. Sorry for the delay, this time I had the genuine reason. This update was written very long back but couldn't post it because of poor internet connection. Hardly for few seconds I used to get connected so couldn't post.
Part 2:
Kriya was pissed off by rey's comment. She took a deep breath to calm herself then went to join others in living room. She carefully sits on a sofa, takes a small pillow on the sofa and put it on her lap because now she has become conscious because of Rey's comment. But Rey chuckles at her condition sitting on opposite couch which irritates kriya more and she throws the pillow on him only making him give an evil laugh in return.
Neha : wow nice to see you both back in action.
Which makes Rey and kriya to become little serious.
Swayam and neha starts to open the food containers which Rey had brought, only to reveal all kriya's favorite dishes. Kriya becomes excited to see them. Rey smirks at her reaction. But before kriya could start tasting them, neha says "kriya attack, Rey has brought all your favorite dishes. I wonder how he remember each of these without missing anything."
This comment of neha makes kriya to look at Rey who was avoiding looking at her. Kriya recalls all the old memories of rey and her eating chats and enjoying like crazy kids, a small smile appears on her face. When bharath shakes her, kriya comes out of past and looks at Rey who also had the same smile on his face and looking at kriya as if he knows what she was thinking. But once again 'Rey kissing the girl' scene comes to kriya's mind which ruins her happy mood just like that. Rey observes how kriya's smile slowly vanished and a hurt look took over on her face. This time kriya avoids looking at Rey which irritates Rey but he can't do anything now. Can he?
Kriya says looking at all the dishes "ahh..thanks but my taste has changed now. I don't eat most of these dishes now." She then looks at Rey who was really hurt by kriya's words but he knew her reasons to hurt him so he doesn't comment anything.
Sharon says defending Rey "as we don't know your new tastes kriya, you will have to have these today. sorry. Rey was just being sweetheart by bringing your all old favorite dishes." Sharon was definitely pissed off at kriya indirectly hurting Rey. In past it was the one of main reasons why Sharon hated kriya, Rey and kriya's closeness. Sharon and Rey were childhood friends. But when kriya was introduced to Rey, she became close friend of rey. He without even knowing started ignoring small little things Sharon and him did since childhood as a best friends. But even though kriya used to visit them hardly twice or thrice a year, Rey always remembered the little things between him and kriya.
Kriya smiles understanding Sharon's words very well "sure Sharon. I am really happy to know that your sweetheart friend bought all these for me. Aaand I mean it Sharon." Then looking at Rey she says "thanks". Rey didn't react because it's so not kriya's response to Sharon. If it was old kriya, she could've fought with sharon for interfering. Rey thought 'kriya has changed. And I am responsible for the change. I hope it's positive change. If it's not then I will never forgive myself'.
Sharon felt little bad for defending Rey and thought 'Kriya and Rey are friends so they will have their own set of fights and differences. It's none of my business to interfere and defend Rey. Besides kriya is acting so matured now. I shouldn't behave like this with her'.
All starts to eat food. Kriya observes Vicky and neha eating from same plate and same goes with sharon swayam, rinni amar and Neil simmi. The couples are feeding each other in between and having their own moments in between.
Kriya was looking like she will throw up any time now looking at all those couples actions. It was rey's laugh which made kriya to look at him.
" seriously Rey. These guys behave like this now?" kriya says to Rey making weird face.
Rey chuckles and says "look at your face. Ha-ha. But jokes apart, it's really sickening to look at these couples these days."
"Really?" Kriya asks not believing their friends have so turned out into love sick puppies.
Rey just nods and says "that's why I don't hang out with them most of the time. Even if we leave now, they will not notice I bet"
Kriya is surprised to hear this and says "wow. Look at them, they don't even realize what we are talking about though we are talking loudly only"
Rey laughs at this and says "do you wanna come with me outside. Let them carry on. We can have food in the kitchen or in the backyard, whichever you prefer".
Kriya says " what are we waiting for? Let's go. I can't see this anymore. Gosh "
Rey laughs again at kriya's expression. Kriya and Rey takes their plates and drinks and goes to backyard. They sit on steps and starts eating.
"So you are single?. It's hard to believe though." Says kriya observing Rey who is having his food silently and peacefully.
Rey chuckle and says "I know. But I am so not into that shit" looking back at the door. Kriya pokes fork into his shoulder for calling their friends love as 'shit'. Rey rubs his shoulder laughing again.
But kriya continued looking at Rey as if telling him to continue what he was telling. Rey putting his empty plate down and taking a sip from his cold drink says "I feel odd in that group now."
Kriya sensed loneliness in his tone and says "so what do you do usually?"
Rey looks at her smiling and says "I go to club. I know this new club in the city. I spend most of my time there"
Kriya shaking her head says "I should've guessed it. So clubbing haan? Girls, drinks and dance. Wow...what else you need right? The best distractions."
Rey chuckles and says "don't have so low opinions about me girl. At least until you know what I actually do there"
Kriya looks at him for long moments and says "let's see. When are you taking me there then?"
Rey smiles and says " tonight if you are okay with that?"
Kriya nods and says " yeah. I am in. Waise bhi I too need it"
"You drink?" Rey asks curiously.
Kriya nods her head and says "yeah since few months. I am not a heavy drinker though. Just lightly to loosen up"
Rey gives sad smile at that and whispers "coming back here must have been difficult for you?"
Kriya takes a deep breath but doesn't reply. After few minutes says "I need a job. Part time. To kill the free time."
Rey frowns. He gets irritated. He had already heard a lot about kriya becoming so busy and working hard in Goa along with attending school. He knew it's her way to forget what happened last time when she visited Mumbai. Well he did the same thing. He also made himself busy in setting up that club or helping to set up that damn club.
Rey slowly whispers "you have swayam here and all the friends. You won't get any free time, them being with you all the time. Why do you want to continue working again?"
Kriya smiles and says "keeping me busy is the only way to survive now. So I need a part time job. If you can help me get a new job, do so otherwise keep quiet. No need to try and convince me anything."
Rey observes her and feels guilty for causing so much pain in her life. But he is helpless.
Hope you guys like it. And next update will be damaka. At least for me because I am gonna introduce new character into the story. Oh my favorite one. Hope you guys will like it too..fingers crossed.
