Honestly, I think Laksh is probably happy that Mahima is going to be replaced with Sara. He may have not said it yet but things have been awkward between him and Mahima for awhile now and he knows that it is going to reflect onscreen as well. Him preferring to play Karan isn't a coincidence. First he jokes that she's a kid now the PH thinks her being a conservative teenager is a big problem. If the PH believes Mahima's reluctance is a problem, obviously Laksh is going to feel the same since he is the one who she had to do intimate scenes with. At the end of the day, it's not about being friends. Everything comes down to ratings and Laksh is going to want to work with someone who is comfortable with him and who he is told will bring in the TRPs. With that said, the PH is completely dillusional to think Sara is going to make a difference.

I agree with u. I don't think he's happy but I feel there's something else too that has happened, from Mahima's side which he feels is wrong and I guess he feels for that she deserved to be replaced. And yes abt the awkwardness I too agree, but I don'tthink he'll b comfy with Sara, neither will they look good with each other cuz she's older than him and that would be quite evident cuz Mahi looked way younger n tthat's how the chemistry came in. All the best to the show cuz no one is gonna b watching it.

I feel its defo something from Mahima's side. U see even PH has stopped praising her. Usually they atleast mentioned her, posted her pics n all, but now it's only Laksh Lalwani goofing n all so there's some major prob happened.
