Part 16
Raman open his eyes feeling sunrays falling on his face to see her sleeping cuddled in him.she was looking like sunshine of his life for him.he remembered how she supported him when he was narrating the worst incident of his life.she didn't became judgemental for even a second.she understood his pain which he is going through and want to erase his pain.
Raman smiled and kissed her forehead lovingly.
Raman- u r the best thing ever happened to me.I love u more now because there is no secret between us now.u accepted me knowing my every mistake.I so love u my jaan.saying so he pulled her closer to himself.
Raman was caressing her face lovingly when she opened her eyes and look at him.he smiled at her,she too smile at him and said- a very good morning to my dear husband,Mr Raman Kumar bhalla.
Raman smiled and said- good morning my sweetheart, Mrs ishita Raman Kumar bhalla. I ruined our first night naa.I cried and made u cry also on our special night.
Ishita snuggle into him and said- u know its not like that.I am happy u made me ur wife in true sense by sharing ur pain with me.more then ur wife u made me ur soulmate.and about our special night,every night will be special if we r together.she said wounding her arms around him.
Raman- I couldn't thank god enough for sending u in my life.he said kissing her cheek.she pulled him closer to her lips and said- don't u think u kissed at the wrong place.
Raman smiled at pressed his lips on her lips and started kissing him .he slowing start sucking her lower lips while Ishita was sucking his upper lips.slowly the gentle kiss turned into a wild one.they were kissing each other hungrily and at last they broke the kiss in need of air.
Ishita came closer and said- Raman,when we will go to meet simmi.
Raman- u wanna meet her.
Ishita- why not after all she is ur chutki.then she is my chutki also.ur baby sister and my baby sister in law.and moreover being a girl I can understand what she had gone through.being a wife I can understand what she had felt when she had cried for help and her husband didn't saved her.I can't even imagine what she had ,she couldn't complete as she broke into tears.
Raman hugged her tightly.
Ishita- for a girl her husband's arms is the most safe place ,I can't even imagine how she would have felt Raman.how could someone be so inhuman.I just hate those monsters.poor simmi ,she gone through so much.I couldn't imagine what I would have done if I was in same position.I could have died if ,he didn't let her complete and hugged her more into himself.
Raman- don't u ever say that.I will never let anything happen to u.I couldn't save my simmi but will not let anyone touch my wife.my ishita.ur husband will be there always to safeguard u.
Ishita- I know u will never let anything happen to me.I trust my husband more then anything.now tell me when we will go to meet simmi.
Raman- today is Monday.we will meet her on Friday.OK.
Ishita- OK,I think now we should go.its getting late.
Raman- yes ,u freshen up.we will go after that.saying so he stand up and went outside the tent.ishita smiled and get up to freshen up.
After an hour,they bid adieu to the banjaras after thanking them many times to give them shelter .they blessed ishra and wished for their happy married life.
Soon they were on the way back to her hostel seeking lift .Ishita was very happy and so was Raman.they felt contented after sharing his pain.she came near and put her head on his shoulder, he softly kissed her forehead,she closed her eyes feeling his touch.
Soon they were standing in front of her hostel.
Raman- u go inside .I will meet u soon.saying so he was going when ishita pulled him and hugged him tight.
Raman was startled by her sudden action.
Raman- we r in front of ur hostel.
Ishita- so what,r u ashamed of hugging ur wife infront of everyone.
Raman- what rubbish u r talking. U know its nothing like that.I am just saying what happened.
Ishita- I don't know but not feeling good.like some storm is coming to us.
Raman- don't worry jaan,our love is string enough to live through every storm. Go inside,we will meet soon. He said caressing her cheek.
Ishita nodded and went inside.she was going to her room when the watchman informed her that her amma came to meet u.ishita was shocked to hear this.
Ishita- I will go after some time.
Watchman- no warden ma'am told me to send u as soon as u come.so u please go.
Ishita nodded and start walking to warden's office taking baby steps.at last she reached there and knock the door to go inside.
Warden- come in.
Ishita goes inside only to see amma and subbu sitting there. Amma was full.angry seeing her while subbu saw her with lustful eyes as she was looking too beautiful in that red attire.her long hairs was open .
Ishita felt uncomfortable with his gaze and covered herself with her pallu.
Ishita- ma'am u called me.
Warden- yes ishita.I had to call ur guardian as u were missing from last night.and our watchman saw u going with a boy.now ur amma is here.we would like to know where were u all night.
Amma goes to her and asked seeing her dressed in red saree and wearing red bangles.
Amma- what the hell in this ishu.with whom u r roaming in the city wearing these kind of saree and accessories.
Ishita couldn't say anything just look down and cried.she was wishing that Raman came and save her from this situation.
Subbu came and said- amma I gathered full information. She is roaming now a days with a boy.he is a gunda.don't do any work just beat the poor guys.he is a baddie.
Ishita glare at him and said- it's not like that amma.Raman is a very good man.
Amma look carefully at her partition and saw some traces of sindoor.
Amma - did u marry him.
Ishita didn't say anything just look down.
Amma-answer me ishu.did u marry him.
Ishita nodded in yes and said- amma he is very good.trust me amma my Raman is very good .
Amma didn't let her complete and raise her hand to slap her.subbu was enjoying this,ishita hide her face in her palm in fear.when Raman held amma's hand in mid.
Raman- don't u dare to touch her.he said in sheer anger.
Ishita look at him and hide herself in his embrace.
Ishita cried - I told u naa something bad is about to happen.
Raman consoled her and said- shh bachche rote nahi.I am here.nobody can touch u.he said glaring at amma and subbu.ishita hide herself more into him.
Amma-do u know who am I.
Raman- yes I know.that's why I just hold ur hand.if it was someone else hand I would have took it off.he said glaring at subbu.
Subbu- hey how dare u talk to her like this.she is like my amma.my would be mother in law.
Raman- she may be like ur amma but for me she is my amma coz she is my wife's mother.and stay out of our issue. Its between me and my mother in law.he said stressing on the word my mother in law.
Subbu- did u saw amma.how authorative and impulsive he is.he is dangerous for our Ishita .saying so he start trying to touch ishita when Raman held his hand and said- u r not ishita amma.so don't try to touch her.
Subbu- what will u do if I try.I am not scared of u.he said trying to act stronger.
Raman didn't say anything just twisted his hand with his one hand while with another one Raman was holding ishita protectively.
Subbu winced in pain and said- amma ,did u saw how he twisted my hand.he is too violent.my ishu is not safe with her.
Raman clutched his neck and said- I will wring ur neck if u ever try to say ishita as urs.she is mine,BIWI HAI WOH MERI,he screamed like anything tighting his hold on subbu's neck.
Subbu - leave me or else I will die. Amma save me.
Subbu was screaming while amma was just observing Raman and ishita.the way he was holding her safe in his embrace and the way she was almost hide in him.all she can see the contented face of her daughter.
Warden- things r getting uglier.I think I should call the police.
Amma- no ,its not needed.we r going.saying so to the warden she goes to Raman and said- I wanna talk to u something.leave subbu and come with me.
Raman left his neck and subbu fell on the floor .after that Raman go behind amma taking ishita along.
They all three settled in a corner table in the cafe.
Raman- I know amma,u r angry as we have done wrong.we shouldn't marry without ur permission. But all I can say that I will love ur daughter more then anyone can love her.I will always keep her happy as her smile is most precious for me in the world.please give me a chance.I am not impulsive or violent just couldn't take it when someone try to hurt her.
Ishita- amma ,Raman bahut achche hai.(he is very good),just give him a chance.I know u think that he couldn't keep me happy as he is not working but amma its not right.actually he is,
Raman couldn't let her complete and said- I know amma ,that money is very important for living but love is more important then anything.u can search an earning groom for her but noone can love her more then me.
Ishita- amma,just a second .I wanna talk to him.saying so she pulled him to a side.
Ishita- why u didn't let me tell amma about u .our every problem will be solved if amma came to know about u.
Raman- because its not a solution.ur amma has to understand that we r together coz we love each other and for no other reason.I know our path may be difficult but the destination will be worth wait.she has to understand that I am worth of u coz I love u and for no other reason.did u got it.
Ishita- but if amma didn't understood.
Raman- don't u trust ur Raman.
Ishita - I do trust u.
Raman- then let me do things my way.
Ishita- OK.then they were back to amma.
All three were sitting silently waiting for the other to break the silence.
At last amma said- ishu leave us alone for sometime.I wanna talk to Raman in private.
Ishita- no amma,I will not go.I know u will emotionally blackmail Raman to leave me and he will as he is very good.
Amma-only ten minutes ishu.
Ishita- no amma,she was adamant like a kid.
Raman- please jaan.if amma want to talk then just let her.
Ishita- no Raman.I know what she will do.amma please don't do this.if Raman will leave me.I will die. I can't live without him.just let him be with me amma.I never asked u or argued with u.just give my Raman to me.she said crying bitterly.
Amma-kanna I just want talk.
Ishita- I know u will tell him to go away.Raman please don't listen to amma.even if she try to send u away.aap please mat jaana(please don't go away).u promise me that u will not go away.she said putting his hand on her head.she was crying uncontrollably.
Raman hugged her tight and said- I promise u jaan.I will never go leaving u alone.stop crying my bachcha.go and wait.we r just coming.saying so he kissed her forehead.
Her crying lessen,she nodded like a kid and went outside the cafe.
Raman sat in front of amma and said- what u want to talk.
Amma-u know Raman,I was just eighteen when I fell in love with her appa.I married him going against the will of my parents.they abandoned me after that.two years passed in a jiffy.life wasn't that good but I was happy because I love her appa more then myself the day I got the news that I am pregnant, I was very happy. But when I gave this news to her appa,he told me to abort the baby coz we were not financially strong and when I opposed he left me then and there only.I was shattered beyond words.one side I got news of a life in me and on other hand my life my husband shrugged his hand over me and our child.I don't wanna live just wanna die but couldn't do that also as I had a life in me.I lived just for my baby my ishu.I went through immense pain but every pain got lessen when I took her in my arms for the first time.I vowed to myself that I will never let anyone harm my girl the way her appa hurt me.
Raman cut her talk and said- what u wanna ask me.if u saying all this to ask me to leave her then I am sorry.I am ready to give up anything for ishita but not her.ask for anything else.
Amma-no I don't want that.I want a promise from u that u will never leave her .
Raman- what.
Amma-yes ,I know it is shocking for u .but its true Raman.I have seen how much she loves u and u too love her alot.she can't survive without u.even I don't want that.because I know how much difficult is to live without someone u truly love.I have gone through it and its suffocating.I can't see my ishu is this pain forget about giving her that.I just wanted a safe future for her and that's why tying her with subbu.but the love I saw in ur eyes for ishu that I never saw in his eyes.
Raman- but ishita said u want an earning man for her.
Amma smiled and said- my ishu is too naive.she took wrong meaning of my words.I meant to say that I need a man with whom her future will be secured.and no security is more then true love.I just want that my ishu didn't have to go through the pain I went through.I will be OK if u keep her in a hut or can't arrange for two time food but u should be with her always.promise me u will never leave my ishu alone.u know Raman,she is a very good daughter.never asked for anything as she knew her amma couldn't afford it.she never get the required love from me coz I was always busy in earning money.I couldn't give my ishu anything she deserves. All I could give her was the basic necessities. Now god has send u for her.I want u to take care of my daughter ,love her ,pamper her but please never leave her.she couldn't take that.I am a failure as a mother,I couldn't give anything to my ishu.but today I want to give u to my daughter as u r the one she need the most.promise me that u will be with her always.she said folding hands and moist eyes.
Raman side hugged her and said- don't cry amma.I promise I will always be with ur ishu.will keep her safe ,sound and happy.
