What you are saying about pratha is true but personally i think the leap was essential to move the story forward, with the old caste they would be repeating the sotory line.

Personally i think they should get someone younger to go for the role of pratha

as for the new sonyogita, i think she is alright because with age some people simmer down, they arent as bubbly as they were and she is portraying that well. The new prithvi well, he aint bad but i think let him grow to the character and he will be fine as well.
