Hrithik Roshan proposed to Kangna Ranaut in 2014?

With more details emerging on Hrithik Roshan and Kangna Ranaut's alleged relationship over the past few days, its now been revealed that the former had actually proposed to the actress in 2014.

In a story, which has surfaced up on Mumbai Mirror, a friend close to the Queen' star claims to know a fair bit about the two star's alleged close proximity. A month after his public separation from Sussanne Khan in December 2013, Roshan reportedly proposed to Ranaut in January 2014. Apparently, the proposal was something along the lines of: "You may think this is coming out of a rebound. But I have no doubts about our future happiness because you are the only person who has never judged me. And I have felt a strong connection with you from Day One."

The source also told Mumbai Mirror that Roshan had reassured Ranaut that it was not a proposal on rebound from his break-up. In February 2014, Roshan apparently, got busy with Bang Bang' and avoided Ranaut. The remainder of the year is said to have been a testing phase for both these stars until it ended in December 2014.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, "It started out as a friendship between two people who were both going through a rough patch, during the shooting of Kites in 2009. His marriage was in trouble and his relationship with his Kites co-star, Mexican modelactress Barbara Mori, wasn't working out. Kangana was going through troubles of her own and they found solace in each other's company and became good friends."

The report further adds that their friendship blossomed during the shoot of Krrish 3' and apparently, it was his idea to rope the actress in for the huge home production.

Earlier this week, the two stars filed lawsuits against each other over Twitter comments, where Ranaut allegedly implied Roshan was her ex-partner. In his legal notice against Ranaut, Roshan claims that Kangana suffers from Asperger's syndrome which makes her imagine things, Kangana has accused him of having his own mental issues
